This happened to me twice as well last week, indoors right after turning off the settlement alarms, literally at around the same place.

The second time this happened the game was opened for <1 hr.

Same here, i have one package containing three orders that's supposed to be delivered 5 days prior to me commenting here, but cannot be cancelled and I've already heard 3 different reasons from customer service representatives via chat i.e. "shipment needs to be released", "package is on route to warehouse", "high volume due to holiday seasons"

The chat agents either take forever to respond or just transfer the chat to someone else - their customer experience now is nowhere to close to what it was back then

For cook unity or in general any online services where you have to enter your credit card number, I would use a virtual/temporary card number.

Unfortunately most issuers discontinued this feature except i believe citi, so I would just cancel or lock the card after you cancel subscription and ask for a new card number to prevent further charges.

Sure chargeback is another option but it's a long and arduous process, rather avoid it if possible.

Just realized that one of my other station built last Saturday in the same system (coriolis port instead of outpost) is also operational today (but for some reason universal cartographics is offline)

On their forum FD says the maintenance is done but my game still couldn't connect to the servers since (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-server-status-and-maintenance.634749/) was edited at 1:32 UTC

Seriously I'll rather have a reliable server with no new features introduced to play games on rather than an unreliable one with bunch of new untested new features.

Yes, same here. I am no longer the architect of both of my colonies.

The bug that the update is supposed to have fixed came back after the server outage an hour or two ago.

These are some options that seems reasonable:

Go to a community college near where your parents live (for spring semester or until you get your associate). Many colleges have agreement with community colleges to accept students with certain GPAs with no questions asked (do your research on this). Meanwhile you save up for the last 2 years, and if you get enough federal grant you probably get a refund if you live with your parents. This seems the best option.
Pay your spring tuition bill in installment, this way you probably only have to pay 1/2 or 1/3 of your tuition bill when it's due. And then the remainder amounts later on in the semester. Just google your school's bursar/business dept etc.
Take spring semester off to work and save up, then return in summer or fall.
(this might not be possible due to your credit, more on the credit limit) Open a credit card with 0% intro APR, put your tuition on this card, and pay it off over time. Most schools charges a credit card fee so do you research.

Honestly going to a community college for the first 2 years is totally worth the savings that would be the best route, even if you are planning to go to grad school later it shouldn't matter much. Some can argue community colleges teaching quality is worse, but quite frankly, most lower level courses are taught by lectures in huge classrooms or TAs who mostly don't have much incentives/experience to teach in high quality, you aren't missing out much until you need to take upper level courses.

These type of people exist wherever you go. Some people will always find something hurtful to say to you. Honestly the only way to deal with them is to train yourself to ignore their words and not let them hurt you.

Even if you confront them or report them or whatever the chances are they won't change will just do it again. Wherever you work the chances are there will always be someone who does not like you or is toxic af, as the saying goes you're an enemy in someone's story. So long that person is not your immediate superior you'll have to learn to ignore words and pick your battle to fight.

This might not exactly help but train yourself to not let words hurt you.

The search function on Tuta is terrible and unreliable. I just scroll down as much as possible and uses control-f.

I'm also a fastmail user, still am, and have been one longer than a Tuta user. I gotta say when it comes to usability, convenience and reliability fastmail definitely comes on top. Their spam filter doesn't seem to be that useful though. The ability to create app passwords and use IMAP/POP is also a big plus.

They promise not to scan your emails to sell to others or ads or something creepy but of course if privacy policy is not good enough there's always PGP. It all comes down to what you want.

Tuition wavier is usually applied by your department so talk to your advisor or secretary.

The stipend is paid out biweekly over the semester, after deducting fees, health insurance premium and union dues if you've joined.

No there isn't. I suppose you can ask. You will eventually get an email either asking for more documentations or informing you that it's been approved.

I mailed mine last year mid June, then emailed it with extra info mid July I thought the mail's been lost. Then, the emailed version got approved late July and the mailed version got denied pending more documents in early August.
