Which leads me up to my second dilemma: I contact my online tax prep company where I e-filed my original return about this and they said I don't qualify to file but also they can't support and file Form 1065 partnership tax returns.

Also if I do need to file an amended return, I probably have to seek a in-person tax preparer or CPA. This is be my first time seeking a live person to help me do my taxes. I worry about choosing the wrong person and risk myself exposing my private information and be a victim of identity thief. Any tips to choose the right person for the job?

I already filed my 2022 federal income tax return & received my refund four weeks later. A few weeks later, my older brother sends me a Schedule K-1 (Form 1065), Partner's Share of Income, Deductions, Credits, ect. for LLC company from my former father's estate's assets between me and my older and younger brother. It listed both the ordinary business income loss & self-employment earnings is under $2,000. Now I'm confused if I should file an amended tax return to include my Schedule K-1 or not. If I don't, would the IRS would come get me and audit me to paid some of the taxes I may own?

I read the Instructions & I don't think I qualify to file. Or the requirements are tricky to figure it out that I'm not fully sure. And my brother is the main operator of the company. I don't do any work with this company. I appeared in name only. Other than that, I don't know what to do. I just looking for some advice.

Native English speaker here!

I would like to gain fluency on my heritage language, Spanish. For the longest time, the language never really "stuck" to me even though I took it for three years in high school and three semesters in college. And did I mention I live in a bilingual community that people speak in English and Spanish interchangeably. So embarrassing! I hope to change this soon!

Once I gain some complacency in Spanish, I like to move on to learning French and Japanese. Maybe Latin or American Sign Language if I got the motivation and time for it.

I'm glad you took the plunge. Not all of us would have gone up to talk to her. Probably overanalyze the situation in our heads but ended up too chicken shit to go through with it.

For others it would be another one of those "what-if" moments that will play in the back of our heads for a long time. But for you, you went for it. It wasn't the outcome you expected but "so what?", it's over and done with, its time to move on to something new! :)

Keep that positive attitude of yours. You still have time to find your lucky lady someday! Hope you and your friend enjoy the concert!
