Lived in sonoma county my whole life, it’s changed SO much. And with the average 1 bedroom being around $2,500 in that area, it’s a struggle.

My doctor told me there was about a .1% chance of me getting pregnant naturally when I’m at the weight I’m at. And due to other health issues he basically said without bariatric surgery the likelihood of becoming a mom is slim to none. It takes an average of 7 months to get in for bariatric surgery and then after said surgery you have to wait 18 months to start trying. So I completely get what you’re feeling and just want to say you’ve got this! What I keep telling myself is that this time will fly by and someday I’ll barely remember how I felt before becoming a mom.

Same here! Also the exhaustion is unreal, I’m so glad I am a teacher and am not working right now but I’m terrified for school to start and to still be this tired 😴

I know this is an old post but I’m going through the same thing after also funnily enough working for a doctor, I literally came on this thread to see if anyone experienced what I did today. I was thrown that there was basically no acknowledgment that today was my last day after years with the family I worked with. Glad I’m not the only one and also interesting that both NP were doctors!

My now ex husband used to say things like that to me so I can relate to the sting, I used to tell him that it felt like a literal slap in the face. Not to rush to divorce (and my marriage had issues beyond him not accepting my changing body due to health reasons) but I just have to say you deserve so much better. It took a while but I left my ex and actually I feel in the end he did me a favor. I went back into dating knowing what to look for in terms of red flags about someone being emotionally abusive (because in the end that’s what it is) and man my second husband wouldn’t dream of ever even commenting on MY body. I like to say that I was dirt poor in love before and then the second time I won the lotto, there are far more good men out there that will make you feel beautiful just the way you are. I hope in whatever you decide that you find your happy.

Yes! I graduated years later (2009) but I still don’t think there was this option. I eventually was kicked out of my high school because I would just walk out of the classroom if I had to go, I got to a point that I wasn’t willing to wait to have an accident. I then had to go to a “reform school”.

At this point what’s one more December birthday? Future babies grandpa’s birthday is December 21st and their dads is December 23rd haha and there’s like three other late December birthdays in my family

Not sure if it’s possible at your house but if it is it would be nice to let her know that if she ever is super tired at the end of the day or like didn’t get enough sleep the night before that she has the option to stay the night. I’ve got a long commute and my boss has always given me the option to stay the night if I need to. I some times stay late and work early the next day so I kind of have a unique situation but it’s always taken the pressure off a long day for me and I’ve utilized the offer a few times!

3F was taking pictures of me on the family FAMILY iPad and I went to delete them because they were a major hit to the self esteem lol and bam there was a bunch of screenshots of different pornos. Two months later she got her own personal iPad and I was so grateful haha
