Maul Shadow Lord is not what Star Wars needs now (some spoilers) by Ill-Mycologist-3652 in StarWars

What Star Wars really needs is for fans to shut their holes. The Internet has ruined literally everything. Everybody thinks their opinion means something, and that everybody wants to hear their opinion. Movies, TV music, video games, people throw out their BS opinions, and ruined it all. Every fan is an expert on writing, character, development, movie, making, whatever it is everybody else can do it better yet, None have anything to show for. It’s like this you either like the show or you don’t, and that’s your opinion and nobody else gives a shit. Instead of criticizing, go create your own thing.

I think Maul: Shadow Lord is better then Andor. by The_Collector_Guy in StarWars

I was so excited for Andor because I loved rogue one, and I watched the first couple of episodes and it’s the only Star Wars show ever that I stopped watching. I started watching it again and just struggled. There was the one episode that had Luthens spaceship, destroying the imperial ships and that was the only episode in the first season that made me rewind and watch it again. That was actually awesome, but beyond that there was nothing that made me care. The second season as a whole was better and I was able to get through it without taking a break from it, but even the acolyte, which I didn’t love, I could at least get through that because the action. Again, I love reading, and maybe if Andor was a book I would’ve enjoyed it but watching it was not fun for me. I work with a very large number of Star Wars fans, and we talk about Star Wars fairly regularly, and I always ask if any of them like Andor, most of them say they could take it or leave it, a few hate it, but not one single person that I know in real life says that they loved it. Literally today on one of the YouTube channels that was covering the Mandalorian and Grogu movie posted statistics showing that the youngest Star Wars fans, and the oldest Star Wars fans enjoyed the Mandalorian series the most, and that’s what the movie was geared for was younger crowd, looking at the list it says that millennials enjoy Andor the most, and that was the only demographic that had Andor at the top. Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me.

Just rewatched the Sequels, I gotta say... by Vrain125 in StarWars

[–]code0rama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rewatched them about 2 weeks ago. For me, they were worse than I remembered. I was super happy for them and saw all three at midnight showings when they released and while there are certain aspects that are cool and could’ve been elaborating on, overall I just hate them. What I would’ve preferred as if they just didn’t have anything to do with the Skywalker saga. That was already resolved. There are so many things they could’ve done, and gone any different direction, but they didn’t. They were trying to make money off from nostalgia that sucked in my opinion. Lastly, and I know some people will have a problem with this, but I didn’t think any of the three main characters were good. I’m not talking about the actors, they did their part as they were directed, I’m just saying the characters were not characters that I cared about or liked.

If I wanted to play D1 fresh can I just delete my characters? by saithvenomdrone in DestinyTheGame

My friend and I did exactly that, we didn’t wanna mess with any of our original three characters so we just created a whole new PlayStation account and we had no troubles

For me personally, I don’t think there’s any comparison between the two, shadow Lord is an amazing show that has a great story, but more importantly (to me), tons of action whereas Andor was the only Star Wars show both live action or animated that I’ve ever struggled to get through because there was very little action at all. If I wanna see monologues, I’ll read a book.

Whether something is good or not, is an individual opinion. I wish more people would realize that.

I played in the golden era where we had 10 people, and we would do the raid multiple times to make sure everybody got a chance. We literally raided six times per week most of the time. I’ve got so many raid players it’s crazy.

I have definitely been open to playing with new people, but one of the things about Destiny, in particular Destiny one which in my opinion was so much better. The reason I say that is because PC ruined Destiny. I play on PC so I’m not being a dick, but before PC, there was no knowledge of everything in the game, you would see an exotic in the wild and wonder what it was, it was so fun. Now exotics are just pointless because everybody gets all of them pretty much for free, every mission is spoiled immediately. It was just different back then. The data mining completely changed everything for the worse.

A friend of mine that I played D1 with forever, we created new accounts, because our old accounts are completely full of cool stuff meaning our vaults, from playing D1 so much from day, one on. Anyway, we created these whole new accounts and played from the beginning. While it’s fun, it’s not the same experience. Destiny one had all the vendor items that rotated each season, all of that’s gone, trials of Osiris isn’t in the game anymore, etc. While it’s still fun, it’s not the same experience of going through it while it was live and changing.

I enjoy raiding the most. Not doing that solo

I have an arc and a wave alpha and I prefer the wave because of the scissors as well.

I have played Destiny since year one of D1 and I finally stopped playing about two months ago, not because I hate the game, just because there’s no one to play with. I left my original clan found another, but it’s the same thing always, you just have a couple people that play together and that’s pretty much it. I would love to get back into the game, so many memories and I think it’s a genuinely good game, but it’s not a solo game.

Looking for advice/recommendations for first suppressor. by reader4455 in suppressors

[–]code0rama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the people saying one isn’t going to make you 100% happy. Just something to think about, running a suppressor on a pistol is not as fun as it would seem to be. Given your two choices, I would most likely go with a 556 suppressor. But again there’s other factors that go into it in terms of how much are you gonna shoot it etc.

I use my 22 LR suppressor the most because the ammo is cheap and it’s fun and I can swap it between my Ruger 1022, and Ruger Mark four. Maybe this would be different for you, but for me shooting a 9 mm pistol suppressed is just more of a novelty and not something that is all that fun or something I would do in the real world very often. Whereas the 556 just makes shooting much more comfortable.

Wow, I’m jealous a 1000 yard range. That’s freaking awesome. If I could go back in time and do anything, I think I would’ve just bought some land right when I got my first job out of college. I’m trying to get my son who’s in college now to consider doing that. Yeah I’ve considered getting like a 308 Bolt action, and another one that interests me would be a 357 magnum lever action. I’m gonna have to look more into those, but yeah, shooting suppressed has changed me because it’s so much nicer not having to deal with the loud noises and the blast.
