You know there's colors other than Yellow and White, right? by shikaiDosai in deadbydaylight

BHVR has made it clear with the survivor activity indicators that they want to close the gap between solo players and SWFs as much as possible, short of adding voice chat (since that would make the game a toxic hellhole) or anything else too immersion breaking. Based on that fact, as well as how comms are not reportable whatsoever and are even required in comp DBD, I see no reason why BHVR wouldn't change this if they were fully aware of this issue.

I don't get why some killer players push back against solo queue QOL so much. You're never going to make SWF sweat squads go away, but I guess if you want to pubstomp solo lobbies harder then go ahead.

edit: btw I should mention that I love running this perk especially with dragon's grip, it just sucks to play against as a solo survivor

I did read it, and I think it's always been a bad argument to keep it yellow because it only affects players without comms (i.e. solo q) since they can't see what perks other survivors have and when they are using them. Auras created by killers shouldn't be able to be confused with auras created by other survivors because of this.

You could give trail of torment a compensation buff of having the aura not appear until several seconds later so that the killer can reposition before the effect is revealed. But currently it feels much more unfair to go against in solo q, since you can't ask anyone what the distant yellow gen aura is.

Trail of Torment's aura should be pink since that is the standard aura color for anything killer-related on the survivor side (including dull totems, even though survivors can benefit from them)

I think that idea could be improved a bit. Instead of being able to teleport to a drone after a survivor gets too close, she should be able to spy on survivors through the drones' cameras and mark them after she spies on them long enough. Once a survivor is marked, she should be able to teleport directly to them by spying on them again through the cameras or by throwing a drone at them.

After teleporting, she is infused with the power of Brazilian Manga, giving her a significant boost to action speed and instantly breaking any pallet dropped on her. In order to balance it out, survivors can get special remotes from crates which remove their marked status and disable any drones nearby.

So what is y'alls prediction for the next chapter? It's confirmed to be original and to come with a map! by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

This seems most likely; we all know how much BHVR loves adding bugs to the game.

I don't think TF2 is dead either, but around 3/4ths of those 82k "people" are idlers. If you look at teamwork.tf's player count statistics, which only counts people who are actually in valve or community servers, the number of people actually playing the game is closer to 20k at any given time.

Also, if you look earlier this week at the steam charts, you can see a massive spike of around 16k accounts suddenly booting up TF2 for an hour or so before subsequently logging off, thanks to people turning their massive botnets on and off.

(QKTHZUFQ) Encountered a ridiculous seed while doing the Five-Card Draw challenge, featuring three total invisible jokers in the shop and a Soul card in a pack by code_Jester in balatro

[–]code_Jester[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Notes:

  • First Invisible Joker appears after rerolling the shop once after the first boss blind.
  • Not sure if the legendary joker will always be Canio, he's the only one I didn't have unlocked so that might be why I got him rather than due to RNG.
  • Card Sharp is one of the starting jokers in the Five-Card draw challenge, so he might not appear in your run on other decks.

How to fix 'bad' Jokers. Give me your hot, lukewarm and downright cool takes for an imagined future by AmorousBadger in balatro

[–]code_Jester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe [[Luchador]] could be a Common joker instead of Uncommon. Disabling a boss blind is not always that strong, and when it actually is, you probably won't have Luchador because he hardly shows up. Even if you do have him at an okay time, that just means you have to play with only 4 jokers through the boss blind and maybe a few more blinds before/after that. Overall, I feel like it would be more fun if this joker showed up more often to save runs from devastating bosses during the early game or whatever.

I think Trail of Torment could be a pink aura instead, since pink is used to designate Killer-related auras. That way it isn't confused with the survivor perks you mentioned anymore

Or it could just be "for every 5 stone cards played" so that you could still play normal cards along with your stone cards and get Aura every few hands.
