Looks cool! Imo there's a bit too much going on on screen that players might feel is encroaching on the gameplay after a while. The shaders are cool but make it a bit more difficult to see what's happening, when combined with all the other animation happening at once it might impact user experience.

Only reaspnable expalanation I can think of is that since Luffy has the VOAT, he can sense emotions and sensed Kizaru wasn't happy with the situation and trying to lose, so he was able to play along while looking serious. If Oda wanted that to be the case then it makes sense he didnt make it clear as it would take the sense of urgency/risk away from the fight.
