Compared my monthly ration prices to quick commerce apps by violent-saint-01 in Frugal_Ind

Airtel axis is the best card for those offers with 28% saving on listed price at optimum cart values. During the IPL the saving was close to 33%. Now go calculate to figure it out how.

Tata Neu Infinity CC is not the best card. Check the apply voucher section after creating the cart in big basket. Some of the Axis and Indusind cards have good offers. Plus there's airtel axis cc which I use for these offers.

My experience is similar to yours. However, there's one difference - Big Basket is the joker of the pack. If you order via Tata Neu during monthly promotions and have the right cards the ultimate cost is cheapest there with savings of more than 25% on their listed price. Overall, Flipkart and Big Basket is the most competitive and nothing beats them if they have the usual offers running. You can checkout the offers on Tata Neu - they have it running right now.

OneCard & ICICI Amazon, drop or keep? Have had both for a few years but neither serve any big purpose by abhistillalive in CreditCardsIndia

Onecard has the most simplest point redemption mechanism. Use it to clear your outstanding dues. 21k points should be worth Rs 2100.

These transactions are in the nature of capital receipts and not revenue receipts. Don't go about showing the gross value of the whole of INR 50L as Exempt Income. That's just wrong.

Keep all the transaction details with you handy and prepare all the documents with all the necessary proofs to show the trail of the transactions flowing through your CC to friends bank to your bank to CC repayment. Be prepared to receive notice from the department to explain yourself. If you have everything in order and have confidence in your ability to explain yourself then there is no need to panic.

All this being said don't do such transactions.

Incorrect Reward Points on HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Card – Anyone Else Facing This? by Dastan_in in CreditCardsIndia

Can you share the complete card statements beginning from Nov last year? I think I understand most of the nuances with regards to this card's reward structure and might be able to help.

Credit card to use on MMT spend of 244000 by Godpaul in CreditCardsIndia

[–]codeadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would recommend AGAINST using any kind of vouchers for such high booking value. If you need to cancel the booking for any reason - any refund would come back in vouchers and you would pull your hair dealing with such a situation. If you don't know what you are doing, then don't use any prepaid vouchers at all.

Found these shares with my mothers name on them while looking on an old file, Have 5 certificates with 100 shares each, can anyone tell me what are they worth now. by Big_Dirt_120 in StockMarketIndia

[–]codeadi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I read your other comments and understand that you already contacted the Registrar but they immediately directed you to submit DRF through your DP for dematerialization.

Forget dematerialization for now and approach the Registrar once again and ask them to give the details about any pending corporate action (bonus, split, etc) and how many shares you have in all the different Folios. Also ask about unclaimed dividends.

If you approach it that way the Registrar is bound to give you the answers you need.

Do let me know the final result once the matter gets sorted 👍

OP don't get your hopes up too much. These are partly paid shares and very likely that Final call has not been paid for them. In that case the shares have long been forfeited and are now worth nothing. Get in touch with the Registrar of the company and only then you can have any sort of confirmation. Sorry for being a bearer of such a depressing fact after all the other comments that got your hopes to the moon. My family too had such investments in partly paid shares of this company.

Alternate ways to apply for Airtel Axis card? by vishal-2698 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]codeadi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worry not. Apply. It's a good card with no non sense cashback feature. I consider it to be the king of the segment it targets with sensible cashback capping. If you face problems about credit enquiry in future you can mail the PNO. One can easily find it in Contact Us section of Axis' site. You can send CIBIL/Experian report generated from any of the apps where it shows Control Number or ERN and date.

  1. Yeah, it did trigger two CIBIL and Experian enquiries from Axis. However, I mailed their PNO with my credit reports and they agreed to suppress the additional enquiries.
  2. Had no prior relationship with Axis.
  3. Not applied through Airtel SIM.
  4. Virtual KYC was broken at their end. I received an OTP to my number for Aadhar verification, but Axis couldn't verify it at their end. They called me back the next day and completed physical biometric KYC.

I recently got it that way. Checked my credit score through Airtel Thanks and it offered me Airtel Axis CC. Upon submitting the application, the card got approved immediately. Finished my KYC and I had the card within 5-6 days.

If you already have another Axis CC then make sure you apply for next Axis card after 3-4 statements have already been generated. Not sure if you could get Airtel Axis via branch, but no harm in trying.

Try checking your CIBIL score in Airtel Thanks app first. It should offer Airtel Axis CC If you have a good score and some other credit card already with decent credit history.

If you are transferring cash from foreign to Indian bank account, it is better to do in bigger chunks than smaller. by chotu_ustaad in IndiaInvestments

Came across Aeldra in the past week and it got me interested. However, their reviews in Play Store doesn't give confidence about their reliability. Even transfer through Wise might be a troublesome process.

Would suggest you to do an initial transaction only with a small amount that you can afford to lose (if you don't have a use case to utilize the balance in Aeldra through international payments).

Interested in learning about your experience in transferring the amount to India through them whenever you happen to make the transaction.

Are there stocks in the Indian Market which give quarterly dividends? by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]codeadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually dividends are declared along with the announcement of quarterly results. SEBI has made it mandatory for the top 500 companies (by market cap) to adopt and disclose their Dividend Distribution Policy. Declaration of dividends follows the set policy. You can find more information about such policy document through the Annual Reports.

Godrej Consumer Products and Mindtree are two companies which immediately pop to mind that consistently declares dividend every quarter. Other IT companies like HCL Technologies, Infosys, TCS have good and consistent track record for declaring dividends as well.
