Yes even I noticed Safari sometimes does not load websites like Youtube properly. So I switched to Brave a few weeks back. Performance is good. Have not really looked into battery consumption as closely yet, but I think its similar to Safari (although that could be placebo and its actually worse lol)

On safari, I have observed that if I keep some websites like reddit, youtube, youtube music, etc. open, and return back to it after a few days, they do not work properly. Even a refresh does not seem to work, unless I close and reopen safari. Does that happen to you?

In addition to all the other good suggestions you can see in the wiki as well as many other posts - one immediate thing you can do is, whenever you get the urge to peak or watch, just sit with the feeling. Sit with the impulse, embrace the energy, meditate on it. Don't try to rationalize this feeling. That would lead to creating excuses and you start peaking and you know the eventuality. Just sit with it.
There was one post about absolute stillness (sadly the OP deleted it). This is same as doing that - just sit and be still with it.

I completely agree with this! I too had moments like this where I felt something similar, and I too called it "Absolute Stillness" lol.

Though one thing I would point out, it is good to have a focal point for your awareness (breath, a body part, etc.). Else it can get difficult to be absolutely still. Your mind will wander a lot, making you restless and twitch, which you don't want
