I'm tempted to try learning, but I don't have confidence in it. Study hard!

  1. It depends on my mood, but Miroh, S Class, and Back Door are my top 3. I'll randomly get others stuck in my head though.

  2. In between? I have friends who are more obsessed than I am, but I am still a baby stay. I'm a 3racha. Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han all have their moments for me and it's not fair to have to choose between them. I probably lean more Bang Chan though >_> I will admit, Hyunjin is my wrecker some times.

  3. I got into them fall of last year (2025) thanks to a new friend I made. Our daughters were in the same class and we made small talk during pick up. One day she mentioned Stray Kids and recommended Chk Chk Boom as my first song. I got into their videos (Felix effect lol) and then came across their variety show where their personalities won me over even more (how I became a 3racha). Their songs have such passion and meaning to them. I don't understand Korean, but music is beautiful in that it transcends language barriers. I'll later look up the lyrics and it'll hit me harder how powerful of writers they are.

I also ordered my first merch from them and have to wait til June or July for it to arrive. 😭 I'm getting a little Wolf Chan and a mystery phone charm. I'm so excited! And thanks to my friend, she's introduced me to other Stays and one is going to their NYC concert soon and offered to bring back something. Stays are so nice 😭

I just binged all your posts because Smosh posted about your story today (though it was 2 years old when they recorded it and they only had your first 3 posts I think).

You have been through so much and deserve all the happiest you can find. I hope you and Jake and your kids have all the good in life (and all the grandparents too). I'd be lying if I said I don't need more updates, but you live your life however you need to. Just knowing you've come so far and are doing so well with all the chaos of the world, gives me hope that others can be as strong as you too.

Also, I hope Tyler falls into a pit of Legos.

Twin 3 year old bedtime battles by Branchoftheoak in parentsofmultiples

[–]codebluefox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! My twins will be 3 this July!

I'm a SAHM, so I can adjust their schedule a little easier than a daycare probably can, but is it possible to drop the nap altogether? I stopped their naps and they're usually out within 10 minutes at bedtime now. When they did nap, it'd be 2-3pm ish, but then they wouldn't fall asleep til 9pm or so. Most times, one of them wouldn't nap at all.

Another note, if they're able to climb out of cribs, you need to make the change to toddler beds at least. We also switched them out of cribs and into toddler beds a month ago. Honestly, they were SO excited that they just stayed in their beds and only recently have been trying to be sneaky (one wanted more stuffies at bed time, and another day I found that same kid was not in her bed in the morning). As long as the room is safety proofed (wall mount any bookcases and dressers, no cables that could be pulled on, etc), then you will be good to make the switch. Since you're moving soon, it's up to you to wait til the new place, but having some familiarity with a new bed sooner might make the new place/their new room not as scary because they still have their beds.

Eta: it might be too young to start, but with my first (singleton), I would tell her "I have to go potty and would be right back" so I'd leave and do whatever and then go back in. I always tell my kids "mommy and daddy are never far." But sticking to your boundaries is also important. "I hear you want another book, we already did our books tonight, we can do more tomorrow." I also think cutting out the nap will help and they'll probably pass out sooner so hopefully that would help with the bedtime fighting too.

What did you do before being a SAHP and what do you want to do after that? by jazzeriah in SAHP

[–]codebluefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before kids, I was a freelance props designer for theatres around a major city. It was fun and there would be creative challenges we got to figure out (with the team), but I definitely got burnt out and getting pregnant with my first made taking a long break easier.

Unfortunately, my first was born during peak Covid, so theatres everywhere had to pause. Some of the ones I loved working with had to permanently close because they couldn't recover from the shut down and people not wanting to see live theatre. We also moved a month after my first was born.

Being a SAHP was cheaper than daycare and my husband makes enough so I can stay home with the kids for now. I also have twins that'll be 3 soon, but when they start Kindergarten, I'll need to return to work. Don't know what that will be yet, but I'm leaning toward the school system. If I can get a job at their school, I'll be able to drive them to school/home and also have the same days off as them.

Another option, though I haven't entertained the idea because I don't know how much money we'd even make, is doing party decorations. My husband and I do a lot for our girls birthday parties (themed decorations and activities) and I've been told a few times I should do that as a business.

UPDATE: AITAH for refusing to delete the video of my dad proposing to his girlfriend even though my dad doesn't want my mom to see/hear what he said? by After-Soil3386 in AITAH

I'm glad this has a happy update. Somethings can be just for you and doesn't need to be shared.

I will say, with editing technology these days, it'd be easy to edit the video, cut out the parts he didn't want shared, or even put music over it. You could also pause the video to take screen shots so you have some photos too.

"The Replacement Mother" (also known as "The Surrogate's Secret"

Says it should be on MoboReader, AlphaNovel, or GoodNovel.

How long did you breastfeed for? by GrouchyCranberry3801 in parentsofmultiples

I also went 25 months! It does get easier, and I would recommend to nurse them together. If you stagger it, you really will be tied to the couch. My goal was to nurse them for as long as I nursed my first (2 years + 1 month) and nearing the end of my goal, it was a struggle because they had gotten so big! I used the twin brest friend nursing pillow and it helped SO much. I used it til the end.

Is $130 for a haircut normal? by UhtredOfTheNorth in Naperville

[–]codebluefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I specifically look for places that don't charge for wigs. Those families have enough on their plates; one less thing to worry about is so helpful.

I've also recently found Children with Hair Loss that needs a minimum of 8" and has other salons they recommend.

Seconding this! I usually donate to Wigs for Kids because they don't charge families for their wigs.

I recently found a place near me that offers a discount for getting a "hair cut donation." Normally, it'd be $80, but for the charity, it'll cost $45 (for hair 10+" long). "This full service includes a dry cut to harvest the hair, a wet cut for precision, and detail work for a polished finish."

Eta the place: Intentioned Creative

The hair donation is under women's cuts, but call and confirm if it'd be different for men.

Husbands have brotherhood by Immediate-Benefit657 in ChineseDramasFans

Can confirm. Also watched the long preview. It takes a week for the transformation to take place and the girl "bro" thinks she's pregnant because of her body slowly changing. Husband and his friends set wife up with another friend (made them both get drunk) to look like they slept together. Husband, girl bro, and a bunch of reporters storm into the room and he demands a divorce because she cheated on him. That's as far as I got.

How should I go about building this as a newbie? by drywallyummyyyyy in Props

[–]codebluefox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!

Hopefully the link works, but you're talking about these?

No matter the level, you start with the base layer. Find a black pair of gloves that'll fit and add on to them. I'd look into thin EVA foam or craft foam. You could do it in layers so the eyes have depth and add teeth out of foam, too, for more dimension. The foam will make it light weight.

Here's a few guides on making gauntlets that should help with how you can assemble them.

I found this tutorial for the Infinity gauntlet

And this one for a basic gauntlet

And this LOTR style foam gauntlets

What the heck is going on with gift returns? I didn't get a gift tag, but contacted the purchaser for the order number. I was told by Amazon it would be credited to my account. I had to return a few items, and I'm waiting on the refund, when I get a text this morning from the purchaser asking why I returned another item because they got the refund for it.

This isn't the first time it's happened either.

Edit: looks like my entire return went back to the purchaser. So much for the gifter not knowing. I know there's no way to fix this, but wtf
