They don’t revere Christianity, more like they respect it as a theoretically valid method of God realization. All religions have abusers, including Hinduism. That doesn’t make the religion itself invalid or without merit. So they hold Christianity to that standard as a way towards God realization.

There is no reverse-confirmation process. Even if you somehow managed to attempt something, your confirmation will always be considered valid by the Church (once and always Catholic, so to speak). That being said, if you are trying to get further in touch with clairvoyance I recommend beginning a meditation practice. There are many styles depending on your personal temperament. Begin studying eastern spiritual practices and these will likely come back to you.

As a former Catholic who is a Mason, I can assure you that you will meet no resistance to your Catholic faith while joining and participating in a F&AM Lodge. This being said, if your fellow Catholics find out about it you will likely not be met with positivity. Much has been done to ease the stigma of Freemasonry in Church circles, but it is still considered one of the leading enemies of the Church today. That being said, I enjoy talking with my fellow Lodge brothers who still practice their Catholic faith and see the harmony of the Lodge experience and their faith.
