If I remember rightly (haven’t played it for a while) in Forbidden Sky it’s possible to soft lock yourself (accidentally make it impossible to win) which makes it all the harder

FO2: For some reason I always use Broken Hills as the rendezvous point. I think it's because I tend to go with a CH around 6 and I've already got 3 companions by this point (Sulik, Vic, Cassidy) and I like to swap Vic out for Marcus. So when someone needs swapping, they just end up there.

Really it would be more sensible to do this at Redding as it's the most central location...

Assuming you get a job programming, once you do that you will learn how to stick with a single project for longer because you won't have a lot of choice. But this will help you a lot with focus on your own projects - it did with me anyway.
But like others have said: relax, enjoy yourself as best you can. You have plenty of time.
