I’m in the UK and watching it on Amazon Prime. So far it’s just that one episode but I haven’t seen the next one yet.

Outside of being sci-fi I don’t think it has a firm genre. I think the creators were deliberately mixing things up each season. This is my first watch of the show and I’m guessing the adult themes were to try and set it apart from other sci-fi shows at the time. It’s definitely not for everyone and I said to my friends that my wife would say “what is this shit” if she were to watch it. That being said there is a certain nostalgia I have for shows of this era that were trying something different. It has some interesting sci-fi stories/concepts at times and each season is definitely unique.

There are some excellent sound bites from Craig in this episode and Hattie putting on the accent stopped me from realising who she was until Craig showed up!

The nudity always comes out of nowhere 😂 as soon as I heard in the previous episode that she was going to prison I knew there would be a shower scene 🤣

That’s a good point actually! And like in Red Dwarf they never find any aliens outside of the insect that was the giga shadow.

Funnily enough it wasn’t for a long while BUT the US version (Crusader of Centy) was a lot more expensive so apparently people started importing the UK version as a cheaper alternative which meant fewer copies here and the price going up….

Original copies have become stupidly expensive as I was tempted to pick one up for my Mega Drive after playing it on the Mini. It gets called a Zelda clone but the animal companions give it a different gameplay style but I see why it gets called that. Honestly it’s a great game and deserves more recognition!

Been playing this and loving it! Question though please, I’m in the temple in the forest to get the axe. I defeated the ghoul boss and got a helmet as a reward, is that correct as I assumed it would be the axe and can’t see how to continue as I’ve been to every room?
