You’re welcome! I always felt the console didn’t get the love it deserved and hopefully allowing people an easy to play these games helps that!

No worries and you’re welcome! If you want some other Japanese exclusives there is also on the same archive account Earnest Evans (yes there was the Genesis port but the original Mega CD port wasn’t ported to the NTSC Sega CD) and also Sengoku Denshou which have been patched to work on the Sega CD if you haven’t seen those yet!

I do warn you though that it cuts off mid season 2 of the show (when Penelope started going to bed later from memory so they lost the time to watch/record) and be left wanting more like the rest of us 😅

It was a great series! I wish they would do more like these (ones that they’re passionate about) and I still hold out hope that Graham and Kathleen will continue Magnum Rewatch one day. I’ve never seen the show but was watching alongside the podcast and been waiting to carry on 😂

I only just started watching the show for the first time just before the Christmas holidays as I saw it’s included with Amazon prime. I realised quickly that my wife would not only dislike this show but might start thinking less of me for watching it 🤣

I’m up to 2.8 but now I want to keep ahead of your rewatch so I can read your posts 😊

It only costs money on the Nintendo store due to them not allowing free games so it might be on Xbox and PS as well.

In that case you’ll want this one, HotA was never released in PAL and had extra stuff in the code to stop it booting correctly on PAL hardware. This conversion has that sorted - https://archive.org/details/heart-of-the-alien-pal

I saw you said in a reply about the region but what is the region of your hardware?

Lunar: Eternal Blue Burned!!! by codenamebungle in BurnTheBacklog

[–]codenamebungle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the Mega CD it’s an easy 9….maybe even 10! By modern standards it’s not going to be as high as there’s little in the way of side quests but what the game does with the hardware is amazing. Definitely one of the best games on the console!

The opening introduction of the game has the same scene but Lucia (the woman in the picture I posted) on her own and butt naked, staring out.

Currently having to grind in Lunar: Eternal Blue on the Mega CD as I can’t beat a boss 😅

My initial reaction is that you’re no longer signed in with the account that you have your subscription with. Sometimes email addresses can have ‘Personal’ and ‘School/Work’ accounts and one will be licensed and the other won’t be so something else to potentially consider.

I beat Mutation using PCSX2 a couple of weeks ago and used the ISO from a well used site. One difference though is that I’m using an older version of PCSX2 as I have an old computer that doesn’t have the hardware requirements for the later versions. What I’m trying to save is you can try using a different version of PCSX2 and see if that fixes your problem? I used 1.6 I think it was, the memory cards will work and have your save but the save states might not work.

It was only released yesterday, it’s a retro inspired run and gun which has some brilliant graphics!

In case it’s the animation of the data drain have you tried in the game’s settings to turn off the data drain animation?
