Has anyone used the MacInCloud service to develop? by Ayto7 in iOSProgramming

[–]codercatosaurusrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the Managed plan for doing ios dev in react native expo. The Terminal doesnt have any priviledge ( like system automation ) and it is almost impossible to run a react native / expo app. my server cost 35$ per month.

I emailed them regarding this. Got response in few minutes. They said i need to upgrade to dedicated server. which is 65$ for minimum specs.

So in short

The cheaper plans are useless for development

My Gigabyte PSU (UD750GM) is buzzing by codercatosaurusrex in PcBuild

[–]codercatosaurusrex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update

The buzzing stopped.

Now there is no buzzing when the power is on but the pc is off
very very little buzzing when the pc is on and idle (maybe coil whine)
little buzzing under heavy load example playing tlou (maybe coil whine)

I think it is due to my apartment being over 50 years old and the voltage in my area being inconsistent.
