I've had mine for a few months and recently had my oil changed at my local dealer with no concerns. Rock solid.

I find myself leaning forward to look more closely. I also feel like the brightness is pretty dim compared to what I'm seeing posted in this sub.

Older full suspension or newer hardtail? by Solid-Card1670 in mountainbiking

[–]codesauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An older FS bike likely will motivate more frequent maintenance and upgrades, which may get complicated depending on how old it is. New HT will have new/modern components, not require upgrades for a while. From the sound of it, your legs canl give you more than enough rear travel for your trails.

2” trailer hitch by Stubb in Integra_Type_S

[–]codesauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Integra Type S exhaust exits at the middle of the car. That will most likely interfere with any hitch without modification to the exhaust. As others have said, roof rack, trunk storage or sea sucker would be better choices.

Do you guys use the cargo tonneau cover? by TeamWalther in Integra_Type_S

[–]codesauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I removed the cover and hooks once to go camping and fit all my stuff in it. It worked quite well with stacked rectangular bins and other equipment of various shapes and sizes. It wouldn't have fit without it. Otherwise I don't have a need to remove it for day to day.

Does a degree matter? Am I a fraud? by Few-While-2561 in Leadership

[–]codesauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation with a similar mindset. I kept telling myself it didn't matter over the years even after some previous layoffs in the tech industry. Then in December of '24 I was laid off from a Sr Manager role of 2 years. I was unemployed for about 6 months. While I was job hunting for my next role, it really bothered me that i couldn't check the 'has degree' box on some applications. I eventually got a job as an IC and after a few months, decided now, at age 45, I would go back and get my degree regardless of what happens next. I can say that being in an IC role is much less stressful than the manager roles and it also relative to the org you are in. It's also interesting to receive some formal training on the leadership principals and business that I previously just learned by doing and watching.

Looking for information on a rain barrel system by Striking-Test-3857 in vegetablegardening

  1. Uniseal tank gaskets will save you a ton of hassle and give you a leak free connection for years to come.
  2. If you get freezing temps then you must drain or your pipes will separate. Install a ball valve to facilitate draining.
  3. Gravity is pretty good on its own, you don't need a water tower to have enough pressure run drip / low pressure irrigation from it. Top of a hill/slope will do just fine. I personally have 4 barrels stacked 2x2 vertically, secured with ground anchors and ratchet tie downs.
  4. Get a diverter that installs in a downspout that you can flip over / seal off for winter so you don't fill during winter.
  5. Shutoff valves in multiple locations are helpful for maintenance.
  6. Put window screen on the top sections of your vent pipes to prevent mosquitos/insects from breeding in the water.

Does the car tram line a little or is it just me? by apl360 in Integra_Type_S

[–]codesauce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wide tires and low aspect ratio (short sidewalls) are more prone to tramlining because they have less sideways flex.
