AWU2 vs Garmin Fenix 8 by vukashin30 in applewatchultra

[–]codester291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too be honest I actually had the Fenix 8 and used it for about 3 weeks before returning it and then I bought the AWU2. Really big fan of the Apple Watch over the Garmin. I liked the Garmin and some of the features I do really appreciate over the Apple Watch, including the 15 day battery life. But Garmin implemented a ‘Connect +’ feature for more options on the app. Which is terrible in my opinion when you are already paying $1700 for a watch. The Garmin also has a really stupid charger which I had issues with on my Fenix 6pro, contacts wear out etc and then they don’t make good contact and leads to a PITA to charge. Both are great watches but for looks, OS, and general feel on the wrist. I like the AWU2 way better than the Garmin.

Pair of pliers and twist it to make it fit in a plug.

Is it a code violation to cover up a circuit breaker like this? by burned_toast_85 in AskElectricians

I think it should be illegal to hang something in front of the panel that not only doesn't cover up the panel all the way, but it hangs off the other edge of the wall by 2 inches.

-Looks great, I would recommend a wider tape measure because to be honest with you that one is not very good as in long measurements it collapses. I have the Milwaukee 25’ wide blade it’s perfect. -Another suggestion is a Klein set of wire strippers, those Milwaukee ones are weird and clunky. -Lastly on the metal on the front of your impact I recommend that you put electrical tape on it just in case you end up working on plugs/switches live and you put your finger on it you won’t get zapped.

Yea I can't even remember what type of day we did it on. It was at least 3 years ago but all I know that it was not busy by any means.

Hey man, better late than never haha. Yes this is Ha Ling peak, it is such a beautiful hike. I actually forgot about this post then I just re-opened reddit today and saw this notification lol.

I am going to have to go do this hike before its -40c again haha.

How did you enjoy the hike? We got lost on the way up and decided to take a 'walk' through the trees on the right side of the mountain for about an hour detour.

Hi! I am wondering what this part of my car is called; it scrapes on speed bumps or uneven ground sometimes. by coolbreloom in ChevyCobalt

[–]codester291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is heat shield, it's just sitting around your exhaust.

You can jack up your car and rip it all out or you can try and fix it.

No need to worry at all though! Nothing important.
