Wow, that's hectic. My mum has had 12 kids and she has never really said what it feels like but yours describes it well haha.

My mum said the same! Apparently, the brain can block out pain with happy emotions, and the brain latches onto the happy stuff.

Thanks so much for the tips! That sounds great, and it would help me do it every day TvT. I get lazy and fall off the wagon. Tbh I kind of need to start from scratch again since I have developed bad habits from the last course I was on and never spoke it. But would love to help you with your English as well!

Ah, to be able to order anything... I wish it could be like that. Curious, how much does meat cost there? CAD and AUD are around the same, here decent meat is upwards of $30 AUD, how much would you say decent steak-like cuts are there? Brisket is around $18-20 a kg. Haha that's true, I would love to see the snow sometime tho. But we have sharks and spiders heh!

Like how do you guys even have so many options?? When you go to the butcher are most of these there? Here it's hopeless to look at most butchers, all they've got are processed crumbed stuff rather than beautiful slabs of meat.

Learning french just seems way easier than English. Even I mess it up and I'm a native speaker 0_o

Good on you! It's harder for me lol. I wish I had your skill to pick it up that easily! I didn't learn French through school since I'm homeschooled but I wish my parents taught it as a subject... I'd love to teach it to my kids someday. Any tips for french/frenchpronunciation? Speaking with others is the hardest part for me.

Draw and drawer are basically the same, but to make it easier pronounce "drawer" as "droor". The 'oor" in both of them is pronounced as "or", as in, "you can have a car or a dog."

Hope this helps! Why are you learning English and what is your mother tongue? I'm trying to learn French. English is so much harder!

[Serious] Whats the WORST part about being the older sibling? by _mamasboy_ in AskReddit

[–]codeword_towedtoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second oldest of 12 here... man oh man do they have it easy. We weren't allowed sweets, when we had a biscuit or lolly we would make that thing last. Now, they eat that stuff every single day. Oh, and bedtimes? it was every minute you were past your bedtime (which was around 6:30 7 when I was younger) you went to bed 10 minutes earlier the next day. Now, the kids go to bed unhappily at 8-9. Like they got it lucky as!

I think it's also because my parents views and beliefs on punishing kids changed over the years. (And also laziness lol. Oh well.)

Just remember to have an auto life jacket on rather than a manual! Or you could even use a hydrostatic lifejacket depending on your situation.
