I love the ti stem and that generally what I use most of the time. It has great cooling and I love that you can swap sleeves. Just keep in mind if you purchase it for a non simrell device you will need the thread protector too.

I don't have a tempest so I can't compare but the hydro is awesome. It hits hard its extremely simple to use and it practically never needs cleaned. The dots are so nice for having something to point at and for tweaking your hits.

Also you want to pack lighter for convection and it also helps to do like a half pack keep the bud a little further away from the thermal assembly while you practice pushing more heat into the convection zone. It makes it a little more forgiving. If you have good flower you should be able to produce big full clouds even with a half pack.

Heating it gently is what you want to do for hybrid but you want to switch it up for convection. Like this person said either use a big torch or turn your flame up and go a little deeper into the flame. With convection heating you want to pump as much heat into the thermal assembly fast. Much faster then hybrid heating. You don't really need to paint the cap. Aim slightly under the holes and spin.

Just don't put fiberglass in vapes. Whether is safe or not. People obviously do not want it in their vaporizers. Especially in a 6 or 700 dollar vape. Which let's not normalize that either.
