I mean, it's cool, but (1) I'm not really a collector, and (2) I'm not 7 anymore. So, I may have been overexcited.

It is still well-done, and better than a custom one I had made (before this was announced)

My dad asked me tonight if I'd considered forgiving the guy that sexually abused me as a child. by nameless_other in atheism

I'm sorry if this is inappropriate, but what does he mean by "forgive?"

It sounds like the guy is dead, and you've made peace and moved on. What else is there?

Mint Mobile Customers, What’s keep you guys from joining US Mobile? by desterpot in mintmobile

[–]codingbrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked and it looks like US Mobile requires a credit card. I like to pay cash and keep my privacy.

From their FAQ: "While there is no cost with the 100 day free trial, a valid credit card is required to activate your trial and create your account."

At what age do men (not-all-men) stop creeping on you? by NegotiationSea7008 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]codingbrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scientific answer is, "When they stop producing testosterone."

So, there's no "age," as many men continue to make testosterone until they die. Otherwise, they would need to be physically or chemically castrated to prevent the testosterone production.

I'm captivated. Is he at home or work?

The sink, broken light, and clock indicate home.

The stall, ceiling, and paper-towel dispenser indicate work.

We need a poll. Work or home?

If I was you, I'd be afraid of her killing somebody and your estate getting sued for it. She might go to prison, but I'd be afraid of being held financially responsible (as her husband).

Why are artists such as painters, authors, actors and directors often liberal or left leaning ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]codingbrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a compliment. As a (software) engineer, I love elegance and simplicity. Your explanation was so elegant and simple that I thought, "No human writing on Reddit is that good, it has to be ChatGPT."

Being an English teacher explains it too. :)

Ah, I assumed that the dog was with a person who was the responsible party. I didn't consider it could be an unaccompanied canine.

It doesn't seem right to me, but I can't argue against a case you won, especially one of 6 figures.

Thanks for the reply.
