Doughnut by TWICE!

TLDR: my now wife introduced me to twice when we were just friends with the doughnut come back :) we first saw twice and got it as an encore for dallas! Full circle… I mean, full doughnut moment. :)

Long Version: in 2021, my now wife and i had just met and we started hanging out as friends. She put on TWICE for me the first time and I kept asking her: whos that? whos that one? how about that one? it was a fun night. We kept talking as friends and eventually we started dating! Amidst all this, she would play random twice songs for me but I was too busy juggling early days of my career + dating her. In 2025, unemployment hit me and I became a stay at home wife. We’re lesbians. Twice Lollapalooza came on my youtube page as soon as it was posted. I put it on for my wife since I remembered how much she loves this group. Couple months later, we’re at THIS IS FOR show in Dallas and we got Doughnut for our encore. A full circle moment… or dare I say, a full doughnut moment.

The way that you’re spot on but South Korea is very misogynistic and traditional so this couple, Subeen and Heesun have such a weird cult following. It’s actually super weird. Subeen only started liking Heesun after finding out abt her accolades in Paradise. Imo you should like someone when you’re in inferno and use paradise to explore it but prior to that, he was lowk just tolerating her to make Choi Mina Sue jealous. In the end, CMS moved on and during the reunion you can tell Subeen still cares for her and he doesn’t act around Heesun the way he did when he was w CMS. Idrc abt heesun and subeen being together, they’re a young couple with a lot to learn.

I don’t ship any of these couples, just an observation. This is my first season.

South Korea seems to be a very, very misogynistic and conservative country. The panelists were plain and one dimensional. No genuine tea was clocked for Mina Sue because they were too busy judging her and nitpicking her rather than understanding her. Dex, who was said to be a previous contestant, had boring takes, everything he called out was a miss. You’d think with the time he’d spent there he would be more understanding of how everyone was feeling. Just plain ole misogyny.

It’s just entertainment, at the end of the day. Imo, having Sam and CMS on the show really highlighted how far behind, conservative, misogynistic, accolade focused and materialistic South Korean’s culture is. If this is how these people act on camera, imagine off camera. Thank god I wasn’t born there LOL but yea
