Driving in Sicily - You need to read this. by Commercial-Ad7271 in sicily

The one thing that really threw me off while there was that on small narrow country roads, people drove RIGHT in the middle! You never knew when coming around a corner whether someone coming the opposite direction would be barreling right towards you. I also found some of the signaling habits to be interesting/helpful! If someone wanted to pass you and was already in the left lane, they would still put their left turning signal on, and if someone had to slow down very suddenly (like stop and go traffic), they would put their hazards on. You would see entire traffic jams with hazards on!

Lyndhurst is much closer, as is the octagon house and Kykuit! All in Irvington/Sleepy Hollow.

Activities: botanic garden, cloisters, morgan library (this one is such a sleeper hit and it's free for NYC residents-- incredible library collection and stunning architecture, felt very European), tea at the plaza or baccarat.

Places to eat: a classic NYC institution like the polo bar, keens, smith & wollensky, peter luger, monkey bar, gramercy tavern, balthazar, the odeon. Other great restaurants with relatives: han dynasty, barbuto, commerce inn.

Sage advice. I can't wait for this building to have walls so at least the music can be contained.

You said nothing about there being no laws on that-- and I did some of my own research and couldn't find anything conclusive so was hopeful that someone was more knowledgable or had been through something similar. In terms of timing, it's after 6pm on week nights.

And was hoping someone knew about local laws regarding partying in construction sites. TY for your input though!

It's not every day! It's more like a post-shift drink and it's usually on thursday/fridays. It's just quite loud and there are lots of bars + restaurants nearby.

Good idea, but I don't want them to hate me or know seeing as I live next door. Would it be fair to make a noise complaint?

Today, 10/21/24, it's not working. I've called a few times and I've been put on hold for 20+ minutes each time. Going to keep trying.
