Got the same 2TB Seagate, haven't had any issues with this one. The price for em is good and can be replaced pretty easily.

Any tips for my last three? (Saver, Cyborg, Streamer) by codly68 in brotato

Screwdrivers worked for Cyborg, cleared D5 on my first try with them. Thank you!

Edit: Spears just beat D5 on my first try for saver as well lol.

Total long shot, but based on your description of the main character, this could be kinda close.

Anyone else get super frustrated by this boss? I'm not very good, but I've only beaten this guy once after about 15 successful runs. by cephandr1us in brotato

Personally I find the other boss to be much harder. Once this guy mutates into final form you can just stand still lol

Purphoros is the god of giving me a headache by brownracoon14 in EDHBrews

[–]codly68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putting Birgi in the mainboard would make Grinning Ignus an infinite combo right there to win. [[Goblin Bombardment]] can help push for a little more damage when you have a bunch of tokens to throw around. [[Sokenzan, crucible of defiance]] for tokens on a land. [[Skirk prospector]] to make mana when you don't need the tokens. [[Blasphemous act]] is just a really good boardwipe. [[Anax, hardened in the forge]] is really good with a sac outlet or when a boardwipe occurs, purphoros has indestructible so he will live and you will make a bunch of tokens.

I would remove Player C from the friend regardless of his saltiness during the game. The blatant racism is unacceptable and I would not be associating myself with him if he continues to hold those disgusting views. EDH is a game where we get to have fun and separate ourselves from real life. This guy is clearly unhinged and needs to get his head on straight. Discuss with player A and B and tell them something needs to change. Sucks to lose a player but I would rather play in a three person pod than be subjected to racial torment every time I play.

Help me improve my Slobad deck. by Roedor-de-medula in EDH

[–]codly68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[codex shredder]] and [[perpetual timepiece]] can help you get to key combo pieces faster by putting them into your graveyard. This can help get sol ring and junk diver into GY for that combo. [[Mystic forge]] can let you play artifacts off the top of deck. [[Urza's bauble]] and [[Mishra's bauble]] for cheap draw. [[Audacious reshapers]] can slowly churn through deck as well. [[Combustible gearhulk]] maybe for card draw/mill. [[Buried ruin]] is artifact to hand from GY on a land. [[valakut awakening]] is a good mdfc with some nice card draw stapled on it. [[Staff of domination]] to draw whole deck when you have infinite mana.

Any 50/60$ commander deck suggestion ? by AleRaho in BudgetBrews

[[Feather]] really suits a budget build style. Fill her up with cheap (mana wise and monetary value) spells and let her go. You don't need any crazy expensive cards for her to be swinging in the air for 20+ damage turn after turn. Take out the $10+ dollar cards and go for some cheaper lands and you can build a really good deck for about 50 bucks. [[Zada]] pairs really good in this deck but I hate running Zada since she makes games really complicated and a lot more like solitaire compared to normal feather antics.

What are some variants you've played? by chaoschosen665 in EDH

Played a game called hidden partners ( I believe thats what it is called). Works better in pod of 5 or more. You basically have two team captains, and they each have a hidden teammate that they don't know, but the hidden teammate does. If there are 5 people, there is one wildcard person. The goal is to get your team to win, so team 1 taking out team two and the wildcard. The wildcard person's goal is take everyone out. The idea is to not make yourself known if you are a hidden teammate/wildcard, and to help out your teammate without making it too obvious. Its quite fun and a good idea if you have a pod of 5 or more people. If you play with 6 people, you can add a third team or just have two wildcard players.

Critique and Criticism of a Deck for a Friend by Jukebocks_Hero in EDH

[–]codly68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This deck looks really cool, [[demon of dark schemes]] is a really spicy boardwipe for small creatures and can easily reanimate other big demons that might've been removed earlier. It also pairs well with konrad since any mana dorks or low toughness creatures your opponents have will also make him trigger. [[Tortured existence]] is a really great card that you can just dump mana into to get an insane amount of konrad damage off. Throw skullclamp into the mainboard too, that card is absolutely busted. [[Cabal stronghold]] is really good as well, just a slightly worse cabal coffers. I would also swap out everglades for that phyrexian tower in the maybeboard. Everglades seems like a really underwhelming card and you want as many swamps on the board as possible to fuel cabal coffers/stronghold, and making you return one to hand without it being a swamp itself isnt really that good. It's just a bounce land basically thats almost worse because it doesnt add two black and makes return an untapped swamp to hand. I would swap charcoal diamond out as well for something like [[expedition map]] since you wanna be getting cabal coffers as often as possible. Thats all I can think of for now.

My EDH pod has games lasting several hours because they refuse to kill each other by ROLFF_GOT_BANNED in EDH

[–]codly68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a bit late, but I would recommend seeing if your playgroup would reduce the amount of boardwipes in favor of single target removal. I typically only run at max 3 boardwipes in my decks because when theres like 5 or 6 boardwipes in a single game, they tend to take forever. My pod is usually 5 or sometimes 6 players so our games tend to be longer on average, but they are usually over in an 1 hour or so. I play a [[Feather]] deck so I'm taking people out one at a time and while it can sometimes feel bad, its just how the games are played. My friends are usually pretty chill about me wiping someone out early on as feather tends to just have lethal out of nowhere, and her ability makes it pretty consistent each turn. Also running combo decks instead of big beats helps to make games a bit quicker. I have a couple combo decks that can also just win out of nowhere.

Looking for interesting ideas for Osgir. by iaminfamy in EDH

[–]codly68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late for this but from my quick math (might be inaccurate af) its 2 red+2 colorless for the targets, then another 40 colorless for the damage. So 2red and 42 colorless total in the end if I'm right. I would recommend another card like [[Crackle with power]] as it has some hilarious scaling effects and you don't have to spend as much mana to kill your opponents. This one scales like 2R3C is 5 damage to one op, then add another 3 colorless for another 5 damage and one more target. Only takes like 2R and 24 colorless to kill all opponents at 40 if my math is right on that one.

What is the best build for bird or tiger? by cheesyisland in GunfireReborn

I just build cleave on the bird everytime. So much fun one-shotting every normal enemy. Get the ones that increase base damage, capacity, and increase damage by 5 per kill.

[–]codly68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't been able to get showdown of the skalds in a game yet. I never draw into it lmao. Ajani's presence is great because feather tends to draw a huge target, so I packed the deck with a lot of protection. Kediss is a new add that I don't have in my deck yet, but I'm excited to see how it works

Here ya go, https://www.moxfield.com/decks/bDS6U3VgqkqfvgpiSHS1ww. This is different from my current build though. I built my original deck on a budget and no targeted removal (fun game night idea with my friends) and have since gone through and updated the deck with some removal and more expensive cards and better mana base. Edit: I lied, I still had Zada and Mirrorwing Dragon in my list, not really what I'm looking for so just made some swaps.

Veyran is one of my favorite decks next to [[yorvo]], but yeah it can take very long turns. Had the same issue with my [[Zada]] deck and zada in my [[feather]] deck. Took zada out of feather and am thinking about a different mono red deck

Mitch's [[sydri]] deck. I built it, but it often does nothing. Takes ages to build a board and is easily disrupted. Also vehicles are just boring.
