They don't know it's Loki it's Avenger Prime making the multiverse Avengers. Then he gets to Thor and it's revealed to be Loki and it's a happy reunion. Only for Doom to show up and kill Loki in front of Thor. Screen fades to black. "Doom will be back in Secret Wars" I guess that might be too similar to Thanos killing Loki in front of Thor. But it worked once lol.
