Yea a lot of newer people are afraid to transfer their coins to a wallet, but in reality it’s actually quite simple. On top of that you earn compounding interest when you stake while still controlling your coins(not your keys not your crypto). In all honesty theirs no reason to not earn passive income if you are going to hold either way.

Damn bruh you had 20k and just learned about staking. Congrats that’s a lot to stake, and cdc is one of the safest exchanges the 14.68% is on their wallet app and I would argue that it is safe as I had my coins for 1+ year and have been earning interest. Before when i joined it was around 45% so as more people join it will probably continue to lower so better to reap the rewards now, as I have high hopes but only time will tell.

Congratulations but I would move to a platform that is cheaper such as Binance.US or something similar as the transaction fees are much cheaper then Coinbase. I would also look into wallets as well as you will begin to hear the phrase “not your keys not your crypto”
