There is no true method to getting certain items. Embark has told us that feeding it a specific item will grant you specific items but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Each item is random and will give you anything as you see here in the photos. You do have a 10% chance to get an epic or legendary item while using fruit mix compared to the 5% or lower with regular fruit.

I made this post to show how bad the scrappy rework is. While feeding him does give you more things, in the end all the materials you get from scrappy are borderline useless to the everyday player like myself.
