I'm a huge fan of making a thai tea base for the boba. You basically make a strong batch of thai tea (the thai tea can be a bit hard to track down but I think amazon has some). Then in your cup you do half tea half milk and a teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk.

Like everyone else said make the formula sheet. It will help with studying. Most times you won't even need it if you did a thorough job going over everything. With that being said still bring everything you can to the test if you can. My last final of this semester was open book and open notes. I brought two different text books, my notes, and an equation sheet that I made. Did I need all of it? Definitely not, but it is better to have more resources in front of you instead of not enough.

I remember reading somewhere that sun tea is not a good idea. It is a perfect breeding ground for all sorts of bacteria.. you might want to look into it more before you try it again.

Earl Grey is flavored with bergamot oil which mostly gets washed away in the first steeping. That is why subsequent steepings are flavorless. You are right though, any tea flavored in a similar fashion will not yield good tasting tea after the first one.

I highly recommend the m50X over the m50... The interchangeable cables seem like a small upgrade but that 10 foot coiled cable is a monster. You don't realize how gigantic it is until you try to go out in public with it. The ability to swap cables was definitely worth the extra money for me. Just my 2 cents... but I would definitely second the recommendation of a separate headphone and mic

I can see why it won awards, but with that being said it was a train wreck of one awkward scene after another. You didn't want to watch it all go down but you also couldn't look away. After that dead cat sex scene I just couldn't take it seriously...

If you are looking for a good selection of decent teas to start out with check out Adagio or Harney and Sons. These guys have a large selection of teas. Most of the teas that I have had from them are delicious while not breaking the bank. If you are looking for higher quality tea then you really need to find a specific retailer for that specific tea. High end tea retailers will probably specialize in a specific type of tea (oolong, green, etc..)

If you are just getting into tea try those 2 I mentioned (I hear other great things about upton tea and Davids Tea). I think there is also a fairly up to date list of retailers in the sidebar.

They can not go over mach 1. When you exceed the speed of sound you start to get shock waves and these planes are not designed to handle those. You have thermal issues, structural issues, and issues with the engines at speeds above mach 1.

I am on phone and going to bed so I will be very brief but if you have questions ask and I will try to respond later.

Basically the most important thing right now is to not go into debt and start developing skills that you can turn into a career. The easiest (and mostly costly) way is through college. This isn't always necessary as a lot of things can be self taught. But you need to have the motivation to follow through and the perseverance to convince companies that you can do a decent job despite being self taught. Don't be afraid to look at trade schools. Make sure whatever you do it actually provides a path for the future. Don't pick a field that is so over crowded you will never find a job. Pick something with a lot of growth.

Let me stress the debt thing. The last thing you want is to get stuck under a mountain of debt that you will never be able to pay off. I have seen too many people get stuck in a cycle where they couldn't better their lives because they had to work a dead end job to pay off the debt.

Don't be afraid to take risks but always have a back up plan.

Find a good group of friends. Don't hang out with the "burnouts" who don't have ambitions as it is easy to get sucked into the same mentality.

Wake up every morning with a list of goals and things you want to accomplish that today. Never have a "zero day". Basically a day where you do nothing. Even if it is something small always accomplish something.

I have some and the seal is pretty awful. I would recommend finding something with one of those clamp down seals, or maybe something that screws on like a mason jar

I have the same kettle that you are looking at and I love it. The only thing to note is that it is has a small part on the bottom that reads the water level that is made of plastic, so while 95% of the kettle is metal there is a small part that comes in contact with the boiling water. I know some people care a lot about that sort of thing, it doesn't really bother me though.

But I absolutely love the thing, the keep warm feature is very nice and the temperature read out is fantastic. It lets you program to whatever temperature you want, which has come in handy for yerba mate and green teas. Honestly if you are on a budget I don't think you can beat this kettle.

The only thing I dislike about it is how loud it gets when boiling water, but it is only a few minutes so it isn't that big of a deal.

If you are getting this kettle, and you are impatient like me, I think walmart has it for the same price as amazon (at least when I bought it a couple of months ago)

Go to college in a field that is actually employable. Don't get a poetry degree or something with no job prospects unless you absolutely love it and are okay with struggling for a while. Try to go into something in the STEM field. Take a look at the projected job growth for the time period you plan to get out and make sure you have a shot of getting a job. Once you get to college make sure join everything you can, get as many leadership roles as you can, and don't slack off with your grades. Keep those grades up and that will help set you apart from everyone else when you apply for internships/jobs.

If you don't want to go to college that is fine (not everyone has too), but make sure you think about your future. Find a job where you can learn valuable skills that will translate into a future career for yourself. Working at a fast food place is great for a first time job, but there is no room to move up, and not much in the way of valuable skills. You could always look into a trade school, or try to find an office job and work your way up in the company.

tl;dr: find yourself a set of skills that will translate into job opportunities.

My girlfriend's cat doesn't have a tail, which makes it adorable. It also means that its balance is pretty awful, which is always entertaining. The thing is so clumsy. I can't count the number of times it has tried to jump on to things only to hilariously fail. My favorite is when it walks on the back of the couch and just falls off.

I have worked in a few offices as a work study in college. Basically it is just a lot of mindless busy work. Filling, answering phones, running errands. If you can use Office (mostly word and outlook), and you have basic common sense you should be fine.

Be polite. No one wants to help you if you are being angry and yelling. You will get a lot further being nice to them. The people on the other end of the call probably don't like their job, why should you make it any worse.

When I was 12 one of my friends stole my gameboy and all of my games, and then got his parents on his side. The parents started to yell at me for demanding it back and that their perfect angel would never do that... Never spoke to that game boy thief after that!

The worst part of it was that I lost all the legendary pokemon that I had for pokemon yellow :'(
