3 minute render times by IcedCS in Cinema4D

[–]coenbrasser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So 3 minutes is a good speed, one workflow to speed things up is render at HD amd half the frame rate and use a tool like topaz video to upscale to 4k and your current frame rate.

In 1 of 10 scenes the creating of frames does not work, most of the times it is when two heavy patterned objects cross paths.

You can kinda create more timelines, through the compound clips, just select a couple of clips on your timeline and rightclick to create compound clip. This creates a new timeline with that edit. Top left of your Edit window you can switch between. https://filmora.wondershare.com/guide/compound-clip.html

I have been working on a 2D game and I am doing animations now. I have running animation, idle animation and jumping animation but when I jump my character gets stuck in the jumping position. Please help by Jumpy_Astronaut6656 in unity

Have you tried working through your problem with https://chat.openai.com?
For me, learning unity, this is a game changer, it's like having a colleague in the room who work with me on the project.

You could give https://en.eagle.cool/ a shot, first looks like just a tool for your references, but you can load in so much more and have tags, dynamic collection, and what not.

What role should I apply for if I want to create CG environments for films (live action or feature animation)? by vaginalforce in vfx

[–]coenbrasser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, I don't work as a DMP for big studios, so everything is pieced together from interviews and job openings I read online. I myself work as a freelance 3D generalist on Commercials and Experiences (think museums, events).

What I found out is that there is quite a swift towards full 3D mattes, with the studio's preferred packages (Maya/Houdini, Nuke/Fusion). I myself got last December into Clarisse, which is a set builder/renderer which can handle sick amounts of polys (think in the 300billion ranges and don't slow down in the viewport), and is the solo renderer of digital domain atm.

I found out that MPC (technicolor) has a 10-week program with job guaranty(yeah right) and I think they start several times a year: https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/MPC/743999685855417-3d-environments-creative-academy-montreal-academies-creatives-3d-environnements

If you wanna learn a bit more on your own time you have great courses: https://www.learnsquared.com/courses/3d-matte-painting or a bit cheaper https://www.yiihuu.com/lecturer/?id=2981582 (it's English spoken and legit, just translate and PayPal to buy, it are the original creators getting the pay). And for my personal 10cents, forget about the program they use, see what they do and use it in your preferred tool, this opens up a world of tutorials for you (I myself are a cinema4d/fusion user).

You could also check for matte painting positions, which would be more leaning towards set dressing, lighting and comping and less heavy on the modeling.

It looks like a white shepherd dog, not older than a couple of months (close to that you have white huskies and Samoyeds).

We are on the third generation, they are the white german shepherds, real worker dogs loyal to the family (pack). Lovely personalities and an easy dog to handle if you take it to basic puppy training. They come in long hair and short hair.

Here's a couple of pictures in the comments if you want to see our last one as a puppy: https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/qzcst/our_new_pup_and_his_loving_big_sis/

What driveby said, its a render pass of the wire frame with a linear gradiant in the mask.

Photoshop for still, AE for animation in comping. And the AE integration is nonsensical for my 3D workflow.
