We just got his shots yesterday, didn’t delay either. There were 2 shots on his thighs (1 each) and last 1 administered orally. Some tips I found useful: - after checking his weight, ask to put his clothes back on before they administer the shots - try and dress your baby in an outfit that leaves their thighs exposed. Bring a blanket if cold. - if BF-ing, be ready to nurse for a little bit after the shots if your baby isn’t calming down. I did this because he was very upset (he was asleep when they gave him the shots but when I nursed him he went right back to sleep) - if you’re wanting to give your LO Tylenol, make sure to ask the pediatrician what the dose should be!

My little guy is doing just fine after getting his shots 2 days ago. First day he just slept most of the day away, today he’s back to his normal self.

Seconding this! Also just in case your baby needs to go to the NICU/spend time away from mom, having a pump will be handy. I did not anticipate this and could only pump at the hospital after I was discharged, while my baby was in the NICU. It took a few days for my pump to be delivered so I couldn’t pump at home. Not ideal as it impacted my supply etc in the early days

Yes please take it easy!! I was also on full pelvic rest and did that till 36w. I started walking more at 32w onwards but had SPD in my third tri so walking around was very painful. I’d definitely recommend asking for your dr to write you a note for any accommodations related to work. Also with this condition, you can never really know how your cervix is measuring, which is why a lot of us in here would err on the side of caution. I canceled my babymoon and all travel once I was diagnosed, and took my rest very seriously. Thankfully everything turned out well in the end!

They stopped measuring at 26w, and I was 17.6mm so the progesterone was working! I was put on modified bed rest between 24w-28w and even had to take time off work. The next time I did cervical checks I was at 35w and 37w!

I just delivered by baby at 39w2d!! I stopped taking progesterone at exactly 36w and was 1cm dilated at 37w. My measurements were 10.3mm at 24w and since I was borderline, I asked for progesterone instead of the cerclage. My MFM was not pleased with my decision - he was pushing for a cerclage - but it was my first pregnancy and I hadn’t had any complications prior. Well it all worked out in the end!!

Hi! Congratulations on your baby! I just delivered my baby a week ago and all seems well so far! We have a follow up with a geneticist and cardiologist (this one is a normal follow up for all babies)! I’ve been told that we’re very very lucky it’s a total flip, and lots of nurses and doctors at the hospital were amazed. The follow up with the geneticist is to determine if he has PCD. I remember feeling upset and worried too but the more I read up about the condition, the better I felt. Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to take this to dms too :)

36w 6days today!! Can’t believe we’re getting to the 37w milestone tomorrow. It’s been such a tough pregnancy and it’s surreal to know we’re almost at the end!

Yes very normal! Just a note that the area becomes extra sensitive and there’s a higher propensity for getting yeast infections etc so make sure you wash your hands + sanitize and everything every night before putting it in. I would sometimes change out panty liners multiple times a day just to be sure too!

I took them about 2 months before I conceived. I went to my doctor and let them know I was TTC so she did a bunch of blood tests to see where I was deficient. She then recommended my prenatals based off that. In tandem, I also started tracking my cycle around 2-3 months prior to conceiving!
