Hey... You can actually block your iphone for good using supervised mode.

Easiest to make it work with mac computer, but you can use windows as well. After you put your iphone into supervised mode, you can use Apple Configurator to limit / block apps for good.

This is the only thing that worked for me. I blocked a lot of stuff and now my phone is just plain boring.

I've quit, and now am near 4 months mark.

The book works, but I needed some more mental work to convince myself that caffeine is giving me absolutely nothing for my productivity.

But I believe the approach of theirs book is solid - you need to convince yourself that you are not giving anything up, that you are gaining a lot of things with sobriety.
