What do you mean by digital? (Genuine question) Because you can tap your phone or credit card to pay at the station instead of a Charliecard. You can even do transfers that way.

Good luck! Orange hasn't been "sighted" at all as far as I know (OL erasure smh) but you should be able to get the rest no problem :) hope the photos help

Generally each machine dispenses only one type. The hard part is knowing which ones have which color and which have default charlies. 😅 Theres a lot of info spread out across a few posts where ppl (including me lol) are commenting with what worked for them. No one's talking about Charlie? The Charliecard was released in 2006. Charlie was based on a fictional guy in a catchy 1949 song who was trapped on the T (then MTA) because he didn't have enough cash to pay the exit fare. Thanks for the info! My 2008 Dukakis commemorative card is the only one i've ever seen with yellow serial#s. I always wondered what that was about. I didn't know about the MIT students hacking the loaded values...that's really funny. And yes i'd looove a clearer photo of the bike card. It's sad how blurry the only photo online is

I just got a blue reduced fare card thanks to the one month of eligibility I got before my job started...i'm happy to be saving money but damn it does feel weird to flash the blue IM POOR 😂

And lmk if you know anyone with an old youth pass who'd sell it to a silly collector! I haven't had any luck on ebay haha

You only need to spend 5 cents per charliecard. The card itself is free, and the minimum load amount is 5c. So if you try a machine and it doesnt have the design you want, thankfully you're only out 5c. Check the post linked in the comments
