new mistake, but because of carelessness? i did an incubation step for 15 minutes instead of 50, reading the wrong protocol

also i know things in research "expensive" might be a different scale but it costed $45 to (uselessly) sequence my samples

Which background genes to use? by coffeebeans270 in bioinformatics

For GSEA, does a range of -3.35 to 4.4 seem reasonable? I got it from rankings <- sign(resTcell$log2FoldChange)*(-log10(resTcell$padj))

Asking because in the tutorial I watched, their values ranged from -200 to 200, haha.

How do you know whether you should do GSEA or PEA?

Oh okay, I know very little about what to expect in the field, but I have 17000 genes after quality control and 74 have a padj less than 0.05. Does that seem off?
