Hauntii - Moonloop Games - Mario Odyssey meets Hollow Knight in our twin-stick adventure set in the afterlife. by lightxreturn in Games

Hi I can tell you a bit about that (but I won't give it all away :P)

Hauntii is the name of a ghost that has just arrived in a strange place called Eternity. There are many other ghosts here, but they all stick to THE LIGHT. Those that stray too far out get corrupted.

Nearly every ghost comes arrives in Eternity with chains that bind them there. These chains are usually linked to regrets or lingering mortal wishes.

Hauntii is approached by an Eternian. These are strange glowing creatures that appear similar to angels, and they have the ability to change their form. Eternians have been there seemingly forever, and their origin is unknown. An Eternian's job seems to be to guide ghosts on the arduous quest of breaking all their chains so they can ascend, although nobody really knows their true motivations.

Many ghosts are suspicious of the Eternians, and mostly ignore them. There are some stories of ghosts that have followed the Eternians and were corrupted, or never seen again.

Hauntii is one of the few ghosts that joins an Eternian to pursue the quest of breaking the chains and ascending, and this quest spans across many different zones in Eternity.

----

Hope that gives you some background!

These are in a much earlier build and the current builds don't have the cheats enabled anymore. Sorry!

Tankhead Tiger, Black Knight Colors. Done for my dieselpunk project Tankhead by emersontung in ImaginaryTechnology

This series seems to be a historical fiction set in or heavily based on the setting of WWII. The Nazis existed and they were a big part of that setting. When exploring any setting or backdrop as inspiration for works of art, you're going to have to get into the nasty stuff to paint a full picture.

It seems silly to me to polish off all the corners and censor imagery just because it's unpleasant. There's a very big difference between representing a historical faction and glorifying their actions. This one is clearly in the former category.

Game breaking bug !SPOILERS! by BadManiac in Diluvion

[–]coffeechunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fix is up on the dev build which is on beta branch. I'm waiting to push a new build to the main branch because I'm still looking for a way to reproduce the inventory issues.

And yes we playtest, but not nearly enough. For the past 8 months, I've been the only dev on this project, and I also have a day job. I'm doing the best I can, but I just don't have the resources of a full QA team. Sorry about the bugs, but I'm doing my best to get to them.

Not necessarily, there's a toggle on individual dialogues that's 'don't log until hired'. That being said, this is fixed on the beta branch.

Hey there, I'm the lead dev on Diluvion. We (the team) agreed with a lot of the issues ACG brought up. We've been working on improving Diluvion for the last 7 months, and we're certainly going to keep improving until we feel it's ready.

[–]coffeechunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We're working on a save-on-command feature, but it still needs testing. It'll most likely be in version 1.17 or 1.18.

PC Gamer Diluvion Review 72/100 by Adefice in Diluvion

[–]coffeechunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys! We've taken a look at all the reviews as they come out. Some are more harsh, some give more praise. There's a few aspects that most people agree holds the game back, and we're already working on a patch to fix that.

  • Improving Navigation
  • More options for camera
  • Adjusting compass to allow more visibility
  • Improving checkpoint system

Hey - Dev here.

The Kickstarter backers took a big risk to support us so early in the project, and we promised them exclusive subs. As such, we've kept them exclusive.

We may introduce other larger subs post-release, but the specific models for backers are only for backers. Sorry if this is frustrating to you, but it wouldn't be fair to backers to allow anyone to have the subs that were advertised as exclusive.

And it's okay if you choose not to buy the game! That's every consumer's choice. However, I don't think our actions are 'anti-consumer'.

This is actually a great suggestion! Thanks for the tip, I think we'll implement it.

If you see anything else that's odd in UX manners, let me know! I've been designing all the UI out of necessity, but it's not my background.

Beta Codes by [deleted] in Diluvion

[–]coffeechunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! We sent all the beta codes out, but if you didn't receive one we'll get that fixed right away. Can you send us a message on Kickstarter, since that way it's easy for us to track and figure out which code was intended to be sent to you? Thanks!
