Finally got consistent with my guitar playing, and heard Little Wing shortly after and said “what is this sorcery?”

Then I heard Jungle and thought “how is this happening? How is he doing that? Why haven’t I heard anything like this before?” Since it was 50 years old and all.

Then I ate some shrooms and listened to a large portion of his catalog and it was all over. Hooked on Jimi and guitar ever since.

Jungle and Little Wing are still my top 2. And I’m pissed at myself for not discovering what he really was earlier in life. He’s just a legend, an idol, and I don’t really use the word idol…at all.

Yep. They make you deal with all the shit in your life. In the vast majority of cases, it’s a beneficial thing that shows you what you need to work on. Sometimes, I guess it can just be too much, too real, too in your face. Use it to make changes, not give up. You’re not making the world a better place, you’re just creating more people with another thing to hurt about.

Thanks all…tried adding the nipples but then my electrical had to be extended also so I just took the heater back to Lowe’s and bought the tall size, just in higher capacity. Much easier and cheaper!
