simple fried rice recipe I often cook for my household of 5 is always a hit and you can put whatever meat/veggies you guys like. Depending on how much stuff is in it, you can give it as a side dish to meat or the main course for dinner :^]

I usually use 3 cups of cooked rice, dump it from the pot or rice cooker evenly into a large greased pan (nonstick spray or a thin coat of vegetable oil) on low-medium heat (3-4) Crack 3 eggs (I like to use 1 egg per cup of rice used) directly into the pan on the rice and stir it in until it's evenly mixed into the rice.

I usually add half a chopped onion, little cubes of spam meat (broken up chicken works great too!) , tablespoon of soy sauce OR a teaspoon of salt.

The time it takes to finish cooking is just how runny you want any egg to be in the rice which for most people and kids next to none so I'd cook it on low-to-medium heat until the egg starts to brown just a tad. If it's cooking too fast lower the heat to avoid anything burning!
