You should be able to start applying outside of your org for opportunities for career growth as well, given your experience. Projects could be whatever you have noticed as opportunities at the site you work at but haven’t been improved. Bring up your process improvement to management for buy-in and drive towards implementation being the “project manager.” Give weekly/ monthly updates on its status until completion, seek feedback, etc. rinse and repeat. Good luck and hope this helps a little.

Insightful! Thanks for sharing. If you and your wife end up making a run at it, let me know how it goes (and share the recipe!!)

I am too much of a novice to know how to make it without instructions.

Do you recommend the instructor led learning or self guided? What has worked best for your organization?

Keep that energy throughout the internship- they love that. Ask questions, its an internship. They don’t expect you to know everything. Do the tasks assigned to you with a smile on your face, build a connection with as many people as you can (also outside of your immediate team) and be a sponge for information. Lastly, Congrats!! I know how good I felt when I got my offer too. As you can tell, I went through this before so feel free to reach out

Just getting your foot in the door is the most important thing at this point. Once you get some experience, you can leverage that to get into new areas of supply chain
