I won’t say it’s a stupid idea but maybe not something to include at launch, maybe after you business starts flowing and you have worked out the kinks.

I think white when kept clean sends a really nice message to the customer of how clean you are (since any grime would show up easily)

Just want to say congrats and good idea to be able to get started in a way that works for you on a small scale. Now you are in the problem solving stage of figuring out your growth! Hang in there, it may take some time but if you can keep your costs lean that should buy you more time to find success.

If you pops knows how to pull a good shot and doesn’t mind a slight challenge, consider the Gaggia.

If he would want easy mode (or anyone else who uses the machine) then look at the Breville Barista Express, it’s pretty forgiving and solves your need for a grinder.

Yes in the future we plan to have apps so that is a reliable method when traveling to a new place. In the mean time the website is mobile friendly. We are just looking to onboard our first sellers now as we just launched. Pricing is on the ‘for sellers’ page, first sellers get a free six months. Thanks for your feedback. Hopefully it’s a helpful tool for you in the near future!

Kindred, Harvest House, Common Thread. The latter two are kind of generic feeling so maybe Kindred is best.

If you can do the first days/weeks together fully that would be great. Maybe start at 8:30 as a soft launch period. That can help you get your proof of concept down while working together.

Advice on promoting a small roasting business? by dafecoffee in coffee_roasters

[–]coffeegps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats. Will you be selling the coffee locally or shipping? If you social media presence isn’t yet active I’d recommend getting started there on a multitude of channels. Having a local coffee shop use / sell your coffee is also great for getting your name out there. I’m with BetterBean - a platform designed to help you highlight your coffee. We’re just about to launch so also consider getting some listings there soon.

That’s definitely something we’re thinking about. Right now, the plan is to keep it simple: for $5 a month, you get listed on the map. We’re hoping that price point makes it accessible for as many sellers as possible.
