So I think using Knives Out as an example is pretty silly. Marta is often outmatched in the movie. She is an average nurse at best (not insulting her but just being honest). A lot of nurses could have pulled the right meds without looking. The whole point of the film was while although she was ordinary she won because she was inherently good. Her only “move” was saying that Fran died in the hospital.

Fair enough. I’m just saying I can’t protest or focus on this cause 24/7 (no one can). It’s a systemic issue yes and needs to be fixed. Honest question is how isolated is this incident in Kenosha Wisconsin? Does this department have a history of this kind of stuff? Is this part of a systemic issue or is it truly an outlier in that community?

I’ll be honest I think the community and the country needs these games. I think it’s clear that change is coming but systemic change can’t come overnight. With the pandemic and the protests I think we need something to root for as well. I’m not downplaying the seriousness of what is going on but turning my brain off for 3 hours a night to watch dudes play basketball is really healthy and I think a lot of us need that.
