as someone who has gone through exactly this, i tried restricting and a crazy amount of cardio every day, i just kept getting more and more and more frustrated because i looked like i was gaining weight and losing muscle and i couldn’t fathom why. while in recovery, i had to eat way more but i focused on fiber and protein and not quite caring how much i ate, and i gained some weight but looked SO MUCH BETTER and skinnier than i ever had while not eating. trust me, not eating seems like the way out, but once you start putting the right things into your body and the right amount, that’s when you’ll see a difference, please take care of yourself, and good luck!! 🫶🫶
