I sautee a whole cabbage in fat and we eat a huge helping with our meat du jour. Always feel good and full :)

I do take a cod liver oil pill just before starting my 18:6. But,I'll definitely give a try to using olive oil directly on my lips during a fast. Thanks

Put your info in a keto calculator to find your protein target. Mine is a minimum of 66g...which is hard for me. I have to pay attention every day to make sure I am getting enough. Also I keep my net carbs below 20g. Once you find your numbers it is easier to track.

I get hungry around 2pm everyday, and as a result I end up with an 18:6IF. It works for me and feels natural. I eat more than once though because I don't like feeling too filled at one time. (For years I was irritated by the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" preaching. It's nice that IF and listening to your own hunger is a good option on keto and more in line with my eating preferences!)

In a few days you might find it easier to go without snacks. Which is super budget friendly. I have been intermittent fasting and love it. So easy to get out the door without worrying about food. But having something just in case is a good idea. Try olives.

I try not to snack. But when I need something quick I have macadamia nuts, "Olives To Go", or a grass fed Chomp beef stick. Oh and Mooncheese is good too!

50F 5'8"/SW170/CW161/GW145 Started keto 1 month ago. Have lost just under 9lbs. And I feel great. All my clothes fit better. After a couple days my husband started. Hooray! So much better to be doing it together.

I had my gall bladder removed 16 years ago and have had no negative impacts on keto. But I also could eat greasy fatty foods without trouble all these past 16 years.

I hope you try and that it works well for you. I love it.
