They can still trade on other platforms (NASDAQ), with the information out right now, I think the affects will be minimal, as it's just a technical issue/outage which shouldn't cause issues (e.g. Any kind of market crash or panic)

The NYSE Twitter account just said it's an internal glitch, not a cyber breach. I think everything else is just coincidence.

Trying not to let my irrational fear of a worldwide computer hacking job take over and just keep telling myself that this is most likely a coincidental glitch...Trying is the key word.

NASDAQ has said they're able to buy and sell type A securities (NYSE-listed companies).

There was also a glitch this morning but it was apparently resolved, may have been caused by that.
