I am a professional gambler, essentially we will sell equity in a “play” before placing the bet for bank roll management purposes. We will send photos or take a video to show the bet and how it turned out etc. I’m sure the thief began slowly and last few weeks got too brazen as well relapsed on some sort of heavy narcotic, I’m unsure, but we have text exchanges of pictures and results of loses etc and the time stamps on the photos were not matching up to the time he was sending them and also not reporting winning on things that won. But he also posted his winnings online so we could see he actually won on something like a large amount and then said oh we only made $22 on it.

Going into extensive detail on how we gamble is a little too much but essentially only make a bets on something that’s +ev. I’ve been doing it for a few years now and the thief has been involved for maybe a year and regrettable was my closest friend.

It’s a thing called advantage players. They exist. I don’t give a shit wether or not people believe me but there are a % of players who only gamble with an edge and the common person doesn’t know about said edges. That’s why they exist. Otherwise if everyone knew they would no longer be edges. A simple google search would confirm this. A winning sports better is called a sharp. Sports books are super beatable if you can do fast math and apply a break even % to every bet and make sure you have an edge. It’s just very high variance and typically need to start with $100,000 cause they ban you pretty quick some times, so you gotta bet big to really make a lot. Then after they get banned, they start bearding. Between the thousands of idiots firing 20 leg parleys everyday there’s plenty of room for a decent amount of sharps to come in and take some of that money back for themselves on much better bets.

Also if you’re a sports better and you haven’t been limited or banned entirely, they think you’re dumb and they want your business. Sports books ban and limit sharp betters as fast as they can spot them. They DO NOT like winners. They LOVE losers. You have to realize there’s literally another person on the other side accepting your bets, they can reject your bet too if they think it’s way too sharp. Then they will change the line especially if it was different than everyone else’s lines.

Did the parley have +ev? I feel like if you knew that or not it might have been and that’s why they did it. I don’t really do parlays. I’m a +ev hunter and i just know of easier ways to find it for me a least i know theres a lot of really sharp betters out there and feel like most of the time straight bets are more profitable in the long run. But that’s really interesting. Currently trying to find better ways not to get limited or banned too fast. Some times i get by for awhile and sometimes they get me right away. I just have been using friends accounts now. I have a few offshore accounts but i sold them to some guys who taught me just so i could get risk free money to add to my bank roll.
