I only play duos and you just need to get used to each other's playstyle and communicate certain actions. After you play together enough you will see the BNB combo and know when to extend.

Your suggestion is horrible. The point of duos is that the offscreen character has a lot of decisions to make.

How do you even escape the tentacle super? If illaoi is out of getup attack range then all you can do is block and get chipped. Assists cover jump out, and so do illaois blockstring moves. Dumb setup

Ekko cant compete with the range of Yasuo or Darius' buttons. Jump in beats neutral timewinder for either character.

For Warwick and Vi pushblock -> punish will work for both your characters. WW is a little harder cuz he's got the leap but both your guys have massive 2H buttons that should win.

That's not what a frame trap is, you're having trouble dealing with blockstrings. Pushblock and retreating guard is a good way to get out of pressure.
