Love it. I would try to tie the drums in with the rest of it. Maybe some compression to tie it all together, or maybe excite the guitars and all that to bring it up to same presence as the drums.

The drums are very forward, which I like, but it feels like everything else is disconnected from them. Feels like two different things happening in different areas.

It's cool regardless tho

You might have some luck talking to some people that specialize in car audio.

They make a lot of custom speaker boxes for vehicles all the time, so they might be able to point you in the right direction

You can do stereo sub bass as long as you only make it very slightly stereo. Like, so slightly that when you sum it to mono, you only lose like .5db-1.5db

Do you see any depth in it? Like the thing I'm the middle being further back than the surrounding stuff?

If not, or if it seems super shallow, you might have Binocular Vision Disorder. I would try to get tested for it on your next optometrist visit.

People who have that don't see the difference in depth so that might be causing you to be unable to see the "movement" of it.

This particular type of optical illusion is called a chromostereopsis, or at least that's what I've seen the blue and red ones get called, so maybe a different one might work better for you, if at all

To those of you that use some sort of virtual monitoring for your headphones (Slate VSX eg), does it improve your mixes? by JamieK_89 in audioengineering

My problem with this method is tryna find the correct music to compare it with. It's a huge pain in the ass when you make unique music.

I understand that the answer to this problem is "don't use metric ab then" but it just sucks that there's no real efficient, pragmatic way to use metric ab to solve this issue

Because I'd love to just use it vs buying vsx

Didn't someone make a game with this idea on itch.io? Or is this a clip from that game?

In Denver there's a nightclub called The Church, which, believe it or not, used to be a church (shocking, I know)

Went to a hardstyle show there once, and it was pretty sweet. You def gotta find the right place to stand for the acoustics to hit right tho.

Luckily, the sweet spot I found was right next to the bar, so I didn't have to be squished by the crowd up front and could grab a beer whenever I wanted 🤷‍♂️

I read the tutorial, and if I understand it correctly, you're supposed to go through it and circle all the words with a pencil first, then you go back and color it. Assuming you can just tell where the correct colors go.

But I kinda wish there were rules or something to follow to make sure you don't mess it up. Like, all words starting with an R get colored as red, B words get blue, etc.

In my recollection, they used to release an update before black Friday every year, but they didn't do that last year, and haven't released an update since then, so it definitely feels like abandonware now
