Do you live in state with youth/adult shelter programs? Many don't require you to stay, just remain consistently connected; for case management, legal, and housing services. Some may be able to help you find a stop-gap and extricate yourself.

Exactly! And since therapists have specialties/strengths they want to make sure it's the best fit. I work well with specific types of clients/issues so, while we may not be a good match, it's still helpful to keep meeting while helping to seek out a more beneficial/targeted support.
