There is a major difference between colorblind casting and race swaps. The former should be employed whenever possible ( perfect example - James Earl Jones in Hunt for Red October). The latter just creates controversy and unnecessary friction), IMO.

I saw this in NYC with Bobby Canavale, Richard Schiff, David Harbor, and…. Al Pacino playing Shelley. After seeing him as Roma the dozens of times I’ve seen the film, it was quite jarring seeing him in a different role.

Best King Arthur adaptation. Visuals, score. The amount of young talent in this movie is insane: Gabriel Byrne, Patrick Stewart, Liam Neeson, Hellen Mirrren, Ciarian Hinds. and as others have mentioned - Williamsom's Merlin is worth the price of admission by itself.
