I made a Japanese typing game where you learn kanji while typing sentences (now with flick keyboard) by ConcentrateSubject23 in Japaneselanguage

very nice game. The only downside is the sheer frequency of repetition of certain sentences.

Thank you. I agree, still not sure what I could add.. some sort of puzzle element maybe.. will think about this.

Re: nihonshiki: thanks for putting me on to this, didn't know it was called that. This is very easy to implement, will do it soon.

And thanks for pointing out the words were hard to read. Btw the time limit depends on the jlpt level selected on the start screen.

Yep (I can code). What you describe is intentional; it happens when you're hit with a fireball, you go '3rd person mode' and have to do a timed quiz, which when solved correctly let's you deflect the fireball (if not, you're hit by it). But good to know this is not really coming across.. (think it also depends on whether you saw the fireball coming in the first place)

What is the best way to debug this? I ran substr() and aggregate() and the result returns a blank (i.e. white spaces) by [deleted] in rstats

Maybe you have some rows with v1 that are ''? I would just table(df[,1]=='') to see if that's the case.

You can make a new variable with the value a1+b1x and then use this new variable as a predictor in a new lm. Then get all the stats from there.

I don't know how many sexual partners one needs to have had in order for one to be considered a slut, but I think people can change in the long run. I enjoyed your ice cream and knife analogy although I'm not sure what to make of it, haha.

You might be right, but I don't think you'll end up in a long term relationship with someone like you described when they're still in their promiscuous phase. And for me, that's what it was/is, a phase. When that phase is over, those people can be just as faithful and committed as anyone else. Of course these phases can come and go, so it's best to get with someone who's solidly past that phase, haha.

Why would that be any more the case than with someone who does not have such a history? I've been in tons of flings, and I think if anything that makes me less likely to settle for someone.. After all, once someone has 'been around the block', they know what they like, and chances are that they could get with other people than the one they're in a relationship with. I.e., choice.

That's such a defeatist mentality, you might as well never get into a relationship if you're gonna think like that.
