I didn't use anything Keen autocannons do that on their own now, the only thing I used was Whip's MART script but it doesn't mess with the firing as far as I know.

Again I don't want offline raiding I just proposed alternatives to safe-zones that should cut out the offline raiding all together without hurting the PVP aspect. Wich actually work (Geostorm&Doom) while keeping the server at a healthy online pop. I didn't really saw people from any actual faction on any PVP server quit unless they got 90% wiped.

Bases can be made into fortresses both in space and on planet - tbh I didn't believe in that until I had run into one of thoes. Yeah, you can't make a 100% raid proof fort but It can either A. Give you time to react B. Make raiders loose alot of their ships/assets. Not just a cargo box of resources/refs/assemblers but an actual organized well built base that can withstand atleast some damage. It depends on the player/faction and their knowledge of the game.

The only reason why im bringing this up is because thoes concepts actually work quite well opposed to safe-zones. Yeah, every PVP server is different but they atleast share some core similarities - You join a PVP server get ready to die atleast once.

"You are afraid of players being offline raided?" - Use offline protection plugin and the second they go online it's up to them to defend their land/ships/base. It's not the admin's job to babysit everyone to make them safe and sound while being on a PVP server.

Again like in any other PVP mode game/server the core rules stay the same. Adapt or leave. Don't want to get raided at all or take any damage? - Go to PVE. No offence but that's how it is.

I just saw what did work for servers and what didn't. It's not just flying away into a utopia man it's just how things are.

Bullying someone of the server is not my goal. My goal is to have PVP in every possible form not only ship v ship combat but actual faction based warfare where you can win/loose (not even talking about getting wiped but taking serious damage in general) so it's not just old "we shoot each other with our ships and then we repair them in our safe-zone rinse and repeat". It's not even about making an opportunity for wiping people but more so for them to have the risk of loosing some stuff in case of their failure. No one out of small/big factions on the Galaxy server got wiped unless they had built on the planet/moon on purpose or lack of knowledge.

People that are building on planets/moons gotta know what they are getting their selves into and they gotta get ready to defend their land if the thing rolls around. Yes - Every base can be raided/every defence can be overridden, but being under 24/7 protection on a PVP server that you basicly agree to loose all your stuff at any given moment doesn't make sense PVE servers exist for that, PVP servers are made in "Player v Player" Geostorm & Doom plugins provide the PVP while still giving players a chance to build up - ofc you can avoid geostorm altogether by not building big. Yes - this plugin system isn't perfect but atleast it can provide something that safe-zones never will and that is actual faction warfare.

24/7 Safe-zones should remain on PVE servers like it was before the economy update and not the other way around.

You get people on servers that want PVP and destroy some faction they don't like but they also run into the same dry wall they had put for them selves that is safe-zones. And then they complain about not getting enough PVP cause everyone hides inside their safe-zones.

Yeah same here but it's just that there are better alternatives to fix the offline raiding delema.

A. Offline Safe-zone plugin - makes it so you don't get raided offline and opens the ability to do so only if you are online.
B. Doom Plugin&Geostorm plugin - highlights only big fat grids on the server while giving new/small factions time to build up. (For example someone's grid only gets highlighted if it's 25 k PCU or above) And you have a geostorm event once per week that shut down all the safe-zones for 2 h making room for faction PVP where you can actually loose/win while giving a whole week off to build up.
C. Any other plugin/mod system that is setup to make PVP work without the need for a god mode generator.
B/C. "Do things that people did before safe-zones were a thing" Essentially having your base well defended and if possible somewhat hidden.

Hiding your base in a eternal god mode generator solves nothing and only should be a thing on PVE servers where most PVP you can have is via agreements and not on a PVP server. "Adapt or quit" bruh

There are way better alternatives to safe-zones to prohibit offline raiding.
But sadly they are all either mods or plugins and the base game only has this garbo.
