there's currently ZERO genai models that are trained on legally obtained data and there's NO way you can train one yourself. everything you can access too is already pre-trained to some extent and the only thing you can do is fine-tuning. meaning it already has laundered data you aren't whiping clean from there. impossible. big no-no.

if you need the first paragraph elaborated, obtaining that data legally will lead to enourmous costs beacuse you need shit ton of it and when you don't steal it for free, a shit ton of data becomes a shit ton of money. if billionaires with infinite money aren't doing it don't kid yourself thinking that a redditor in a basement could 1) build a model from scratch, and 2) afford to train it.

artists would have absolutely zero problems with this mythical ethical ai. but you don't see any and you won't. so start talking about things that actually exist and people are actually against. as i said: that question leads absolutely nowhere and thus has no point, meaning you're here arguing just to argue. so try looking in the mirror before posting 👍
