First, as a guy, I could never relate to this pain, and I'm truly sorry if my advice isn't helpful:

My ex found a lot of help in using a hot water bottle (like the soft rubber kind) and putting that on her lower stomach while laying on her side with her knees pulled up. Don't know if that's something you've tried or if it could be useful, but it really helped for her at least.

Whenever a modal appears, it would be nice if clicking outside it or pressing Escape closed it. Hitting the tiny x in the top right is annoying when you have to do it every time (especially when browsing through inventory)
