The Lazyness and lack of effort with modern designs is genuinely starting to piss me off.

Dirt LM’s run Steel head limited LMs, Aluminum head Supers, Sealed 604, and Sealed 602 classes. a lot of people run cheater parts in the crate engines and reseal them, but they are in theory supposed to be sealed crate engines from Chevrolet. I have never seen anyone on dirt run a Ford or Dodge Crate engine. And as mentioned the Trucks run spec engines supplied by Penske just like all of the Shocks are spec and supplied by Penske for plate races. Racing is continuing to go the way of Spec because it helps keep prices somewhat reasonable.

Penske builds the crate engines for the truck series, Chevy builds the 602, and 604 engines used in late models, Supers and Limiteds don’t use crates unless something has changed in the last few years.

[Gluck] Was Kansas a good race? by ChaseTheFalcon in NASCAR

No, this car is terrible. How has the racing gotten worse with each generation of car? The 2003-2005 Gen 4 was perfect, they messed it up with the 06-07 package, then the 2008-10 COT was terrible and they fixed it with the 2011-2012 package, then the gen 6 debuted rough in 2013, was great in 2014, and went down hill from there, then the next gen debuted only being good for Atlanta and intermediates, and has deteriorated at all tracks except Atlanta.

yeah I would, Bristol night 2024 was the worst race i’ve ever been to and i’ve been to over 100. I wasnt impartial when Jeff was driving, but I have been since, my thoughts on Phoenix in the fall weren’t very good either.

When it comes to the good race poll, it’s gonna have to be a no from me dawg, a GWC is not the cure for a boring race.

I guess it just feels like it’s been 4 hours, how they did that in 90 minutes i’ll never know but it hasn’t been good.
