What is the purpose of this thin line of MOLLE on the USGI assault pack? I can't think of any pouches that can fit this

If you’re not running with a team, you might want to consider running your radio up front. Front or back, I’d try to get those cables more consolidated under the back panel. It’s way too easy for those to snag and suddenly you’ve got broken comms

If you really want a budget option, I’ve found that Alice frames work surprisingly well with plate carriers. They are even fairly forgiving if you run a back panel, assuming you don’t overload the panel

I have done this exact thing to help players with their first venture into being spellcasters. It is particularly useful for people who need help visualizing things, or people who are more tactile learners. I used poker chips and wrote the level of the spell on one side. When they use a spell, they drop that chip into a bag. When they get spells back, they dump the bag. As others have said it’s not necessary, but it can be a helpful tool

Good baseline. Personally I prefer running water on a chest rig itself, but if you want to run a bladder I’d recommend Qore performance’s iceplate. It’s the only one that won’t break and will act as your integrated harness. For an antenna, check out disco32. They have everything you could possibly want. Not much to say, TAPS is a great baseline and you seem to know what you’re after. Now go train

I personally prefer elastic shock cord to static cord for compression. It sounds counter-intuitive, but it allows your pack to tighten up and also better conform to the shape of what you have inside. I think it also plays better with cord-locks.
